Nadia, our guide, was wonderful! Nadia was very knowledgeable and did a great job at highlighting important and fun pieces of art. She was very interactive and responsive to questions and comments. She was able to relate to our children, 13 and 15, and include both of them in the tour. Thank you so much, Nadia, for being a MVP guide for us!!!

Quick tour, not kid friendly

Our guide was well educated and full of information. I wish that she would have geared her information more towards children. Our three kids (ages 7,9,13) did not enjoy the tour. She discussed multiple times about which artists were homosexual and we spent far too long on the hermaphrodite statue. This information was irrelevant to our children. We wish we could have used that time to visit some of the Egyptian artifacts. Overall, she gave lots of information and very kind.

First time Louvre visit

I’m so glad we booked the tour of the Louvre. It’s really overwhelming to see everything but Nadia was an experienced guide who picked out interesting pieces to see and navigated us through the museum efficiently. I would highly recommend Nadia! After the tour she helped us find the exhibits we didn’t have a chance to see. 2 hours is not enough time to see everything. The next time we go, I’ll book a longer tour.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dmitri. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The 2 hours flew by, even for my two kids ages 8 and 10. Being able to skip the line was a HUGE perk, even in low season in February when its blistery cold. It's still very very crowded. Having him walk us through and visit all the main "stars" of the Louvre was a truly great experience. Dmitri kept it entertaining, informative and just plain fun. I loved how we started from the history of the building and went through all types of works in a way that is easy to understand. The pace was very good, not too slow and not too fast. Would not have been able to navigate such a grand museum without this tour. I highly highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting the Louvre with or without kids. It will save you so much hassle, trust me!! Thank you so much Dmitri!

This was a 2 hour tour hitting the masterpieces of the Louvre. It was helpful to be guided on my first visit because it is so huge inside. Remember to buy your tix separately! Overall I really enjoyed this tour, the guide was knowledgeable and fun.

Great tour despite the crowd and rain

It was a little hairy at the beginning of the tour as it was raining and the place was chaos. We finally met up with our guide, Dimitri, who was excellent. We couldn’t have done the museum in the amount of time we needed without him.

We had an incredible tour of the Louvre with Fabian with our two young children (5 & 8), and another lovely couple. Fabian offered a compelling, colorful, and clear portrait of the museum’s history (and by way, the history of France and Paris, specifically). We also saw the major artworks (the Mona Lisa too), with more information on both the art history, the techniques used, and the cultural and political atmosphere of the times. It was truly fascinating to listen to his intelligent and sophisticated narratives. Fabian was engaging with our children, answering their questions. Walking the entire Louvre is 12 miles long! It is absolutely necessary to take a tour, not only to orient ourselves among thousands of artworks, but to see a select number and learn in depth about the various historic and artistic periods and styles. Thank you! Ten stars!
