Going in the evening meant that parts of the Louvre were less crowded and more quiet, which was good for one our of family members with sensory issues.

I highly recommend taking this tour, especially if you have never been to this most delicious museum!

Highly recommended especially if you're not sure if you really like museums.

Our tour guide was fantastic. They were patient with out metro delay and had great communication. Highly recommend a private tour to get the most out of your visit.

There weren't enough people booked for my first tour so they cancelled, luckily I was available to join the tour the next day. The tour itself was good, but only about 90 minutes inside the Louvre. Guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, also open to suggestion and considerate of group interests. Be prepared to ask any questions you have about the main works and plan to see any collections outside of the most famous pieces on your own after (you're free to stay as long as you like) because the museum is HUGE and no tour can show it all.

We booked the tour the night before, only having a small window of time between other stuff we had booked, which this tour fit into. So happy it was a small group tour, only us and another couple. Our guide was fantastic and took notice when we were checking something out that he hadn't talked about and took time to give us more details. He even gave us suggestions on where to go next in the Louvre at the end of the tour based on what he saw us taking the most interest in. This was a great intro to the Louvre and we got to see the popular spots efficiently, no need to wander around to try and find the Mona Lisa or other famous pieces.

Our guide was amazing! She taught us so much about the history of the building and the history of the antiquities collections of Greek and Roman sculptures and Renaissance painters. She was extremely knowledgeable and just adorable. The Lourve is overwhelming and being in such a small group with such an engaging guide who was a natural storyteller made all the difference.

Our tour got cancelled as guide was sick and they couldn’t find a replacement. Our tour was supposedly at 4pm and after communicating with the rep, we could only opt for refund and buy new tickets to go into Lourve on our own. Our tickets was 4.30pm and Lourve closes at 5.45pm, we had very limited time and could only cover a small part of the museum, made worse because we had no guide to help us “zoom in”.
