What To Expect

Be transported to the golden age of Parisian cabaret at the world-famous Moulin Rouge. Founded in 1889, the iconic dance hall quickly became renowned as a glamorous gathering place for a broad range of Parisian movers and shakers. The Moulin Rouge’s famously beautiful dancers are memorialized in paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec, and it is considered the home of the celebrated cancan dance.

Make your way to Montmartre before the 11pm start time and join the queue to enter the legendary venue, where you’ll take your seats for the late-night performance of the nostalgic Féerie revue. Sip on a half bottle of French champagne and enjoy the sumptuous fin de siècle surroundings that have played host to countless musical legends throughout the years, including Edith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Liza Minnelli.

Prepare to be mesmerized as a parade of 80 talented dancers and acrobats take the stage, including 60 legendary Doriss Girls. It’s a feast for the senses with spectacular costumes of feathers, sequins and rhinestones and show-stopping numbers performed to original music against the backdrop of elaborate, moving sets.

When the curtain closes on the 2-hour show, emerge back out into the storied streets of Montmartre with stars in your eyes.

  • Elegant attire is required (tie and jacket not necessary) no shorts, no short-pants, no sport shoes or sportswear.
  • Due to its popularity, you should expect to wait in line at the Moulin Rouge before gaining access. The Moulin Rouge does not grant priority access to anyone. The seats are allocated 1 hour before performance time.

      The show, the costumes are fantastic. The process of entering the place was unpleasant and disappointing. More beverage options could have been offered in the fixed price. On the web it says the show is for 2 hours while in fact it is only 1.5. 1 hour standing for entering and seating is too long and tiring.

      The worst show I have ever seen, tacky cheap cabaret show, dancers were out of time and they were lip syncing which was so very obvious!! The only thing worth seeing was the inbetween acts the rest was so poor. Do not waste your money!!!!

      We were only 2 but put on a table with 8 people and was not able to see the entire show because of the view. They squeeze you in like sardines. We left half of the show.

      I would give this review five stars, but for the terribly slow and uncomfortable seating process, which took us one hour to get to our table and 1h20m for them to complete, despite our reservation. Nonetheless, the performers were amazing and gave it their all. I would recommend the revue, but wear comfortable footwear and bring your patience.
