Traveller Tips

Before you go, I would recommend a visit to the Musee Rodin website where you can see the main works, along with a written and recorded description and how each fit into the life of the famous sculptor.

Definitely a must see!

Wow! It can easily be an all day experience. We went in November so the crowd was minimal. So relaxing to stroll through all the floors.

museum was great but when i got there they would not accept my ticket. i was told i had to walk somewhere else in Paris to validate the ticket first. other people were mad too about this so i had to buy another ticket. i really would like my money back.
A Rip Off
OnAir575429, June 2019
This company fails to tell you that you have to go to another location than the museum to pick up tickets for the museum. So it has you running all over town. It's a scam. Just make your tickets directly through the museum. That will save you lots of time.
Response from Host, June 2019
I am really sorry to read that you didn't read this part on the product page as well as the informatiojn showing on the confirmation which clearly states that tickets must be collected at a local agency. We are conveniently located close to the Eiffel Tower and we welcome visitors in our Boutique everyday to give them their tickets. It does not seem to be an issue for most of them to stop by our boutique to collect the tickets. I am also really sorry that you think it is a scam or that you feel you've been ripped off, when the service is legitimate and match other people needs. The tickets exists. They are sold at the Public Price with no supplement. However you are right, tickets must be collected at our agency, however if you plan accordingly in your schedule once do not have to run all over town to get them. Thank you very much, though, for having shared with us as I am sure it will be of great help for other users of our service.
Great museum!

Rodin is my favorite sculptor so this was a must for me. If you don't know or love Rodin you probably would rather the Louvre or Musee d'Orsay!
Response from Host, June 2019
Rodin Museum surely is a place not to miss when visiting Paris, if not the first time at least on your second visit and I am glad you managed to pay a tribute to your favorite sculptor by visiting his private mansion in Paris and its Beautiful Gardens. Thanks, Arnaud
Well Worth a Visit
Norma_G, June 2019
It was a thrill to see the well-known sculptures of Rodin. Many are displayed in the peaceful gardens where you get an appreciation of how Rodin captured movement in his pieces. Before you go, I would recommend a visit to the Musee Rodin website where you can see the main works, along with a written and recorded description and how each fit into the life of the famous sculptor. We found particularly interesting “The Burghers of Calais” and the “Gates of Hell” both of which include a fascinating story. Worth getting the audio phones .
Poor service
Gintaras_K, May 2019
Paid for e-ticket in advance. However, the museum refused to acept my e-ticket, so, had to go to the Viator's partners office to get paper ticket, 3 kilometers forth and back. So, much better solution would be just go directly to museum without any arrangements with Viator. Would not recommend.
A most enjoyable visit. The gardens...
Norma H, Aug 2018
A most enjoyable visit. The gardens are lovely as well as enjoying the sculptures. After our visit to the house and gardens, we enjoyed delicious ice cream under a tree canopy. We did not take an official tour. Bought the skip the line ticket and toured ourselves.
Musee Rodin is beautiful! We enjoyed...

Musee Rodin is beautiful! We enjoyed the outdoor space and beautiful gardens as well.
The voucher received was printed...
Beverly_C, Mar 2018
The voucher received was printed with electronic voucher accepted and at the same time there was also a pickup tickets required statement. At the museum we were told we had to go pick up the tickets 3/4 of a mile away. Considering the entry fee was about the same it was hardly worth the effort of pre-purchasing only to have to go somewhere else to pick up the tickets. There were no lines to skip at the time of year that we went and the gardens were mostly closed off for spring rework, as was part of the museum itself. Sorry to say it was disappointing.
Nullwertige VIATOR-Leistung!
Kalman_H, Mar 2020
Was gibt es denn anstatt Warteschlange?!
