Very informative
JoAnn_S, Mar 2023
The knowledge of the tour guide was impressive. I learned so much more about the surrounding area and the liberation of the French people. Our stop for lunch was delicious
An ideal way for Americans to see the Normandy beaches
William_M, Mar 2023
We had a fantastic time on the trip. Our guide, Laila, was very knowledgeable about both D-Day and Operation Overlord, but also about the Normandy region, and was extremely fluent in English. The bus was comfortable and well-appointed. The tour is well-planned and makes it to several of the most significant sites where American, British, and Canadian troops landed.
Omaha
Kyle_Y, Mar 2023
The trip was amazing and our tour guide was knowledgeable. I wish there was more time for Omaha. It was nice to go and reflect on all that happened at Normandie.
A bucket list trip.

Apart from a long bus ride, the trip to DDay beaches was not to be missed. Our guide Amalie, was fascinating and very informative. She knew everything. The American cemetery was absolutely the top stop. It was breathtakingly sad and haunting but beautiful. The beaches were awe inspiring. Go.
A Must See!
Laurie_L, Mar 2023
Excellent tour! Our guide Leila was informative and interesting. Our driver - Jack - was patient and skilled. A tour everyone should see at least once in their lifetime.
Incredible Experience
JustinMcGowan, Feb 2023
Chris was very knowledgeable and the trip as a whole was a great experience. It was very nice to see the French countryside on the way there. The rest stop also helped make the drive seem quicker. The lunch and Arromanches was top notch. Walking on the beaches was a surreal experience. Definitely recommend for any history buff! Not for the faint of heart though, this tour runs all day and you will be tires at the end but it was very much worth it.

Great tour and worth the money
Carly_A, Dec 2022
Layla was our tour guide and she was so fantastic. She was knowledgeable and very pleasant! This was a wonderful way to see Normandy. It was the perfect amount of time at each stop. It’s expensive but I just can’t see a better way to do it. It’s worth the money.
Great tour
Jennifer_B, Dec 2022
This tour is well planned and organized. Our tour guide was lovely. The bus was clean and the stops were plenty
Outstanding day trip
Charles_M, Dec 2022
Stellar way to see 3 of the 5 D Day beaches in a pretty efficient amount of time. We really liked our guide and the pacing of activities. Must be prepared that this is mostly a memorials tour, and there will be only a few war relics to see. Outstanding day trip though.
Historic Normandie
Joseph_G, Dec 2022
The driver and the tour guide were consummate professionals. The entire tour ran timely and they ensured that passengers had appropriate bathroom breaks during the travel to and from Paris to Normandie. The tour guide was very informative. No fault of the tour operator, but visiting during the month of December meant shortened daylight hours to take in the locale and limited meal options at the sites visited. Overall a tour worth taking and sites are memorable.
June 6, 1944=3,000 US casualties that day alone.
David_H, Dec 2022
Grave sights are exquisite in the respect of the fallen. Very reverently done. I suggest going downstairs in the reception center first and then walking to the cemetery as there is a lot to take in downstairs, and not a lot of time.
Outstanding day well worth it
Linda_M, Nov 2022
The whole tour was magnificent . Along day learning about D day. But well worth every minute. The tour guide was well conversed with the event.
Speechless and truly remarkable tour with Steven
Laura_J, Nov 2022
While I wish I had more than one day to stay in Normandy, this is a wonderful option for those with shorter time. The tour was informative and the people in our group made it even better. Our tour guide, Steven, made the experience extremely unforgettable, especially with his sense of humor. I can’t wait to come back and take more tours with him!
Amazing day in Normandy!
Beth_B, Nov 2022
This tour started early due to a long journey to Normandy from Paris. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us about 45 min to an hour long informational talk on the ride. Upon arrival in Normandy, we arrived on the beaches of Omaha. We spent about 30 minutes adventuring on the beach and taking photos. We continued on through many small towns with lots of history surrounding the war. The. We arrived at the American cemetery. It is one of most sacred places I’ve ever been. The museum at the cemetery was amazing and beautifully put together. After the cemetery, we went into a small port town to eat lunch, unfortunately the only restaurant open during the winter months was a small hotel restaurant. So if you go on this tour during the winter, bring lots of snacks. The tour concluded with a trip to another village where the Canadians actually landed on the beach. Another wonderful museum that acknowledged all who sacrificed their lives. The tour was not only informational, but I learned a lot and have a new appreciation for the freedoms we have in US. The tour guide was very sweet and gave us more information as we headed back to Paris. It’s a long day, but worth every minute!
Lifetime experience diminished by tour guide and planning
Matthew_I, Nov 2022
I have been looking forward to going to Normandy all my life and the experience of the cemetery and seeing the beaches was incredible. However, two things prevented it from being outstanding. The guide talked excessively on the bus. It got to be very tiresome and annoying. There was simply no need to begin a lecture on the history of D Day for an hour and a half after leaving Paris and then again at the end of the trip!. We should’ve been allowed to simply enjoy the beautiful countryside and maybe take a little nap. Also there was not enough time given to experience the Visitor Center which was a huge disappointment. 😡
The sites were memorable...
Louise_H, Nov 2022
The sites were memorable and meaningful and the driver and comfort of the trip was very good but the tour guide was Ill prepared rambling and distracting. I was very disappointed with the commentary which seems off the cuff and not knowledgeable at all about the sites or historical significance.
Good
John_M, Nov 2022
The trip itself was very good, however our tour guide did not have our reservation from Viator and they had to make a special exception to let us go, despite showing a reservation number on our voucher.
Normandy from Paris must do!
Mike_B, Nov 2022
Sobering walking the beaches of Normandy & learning about the bravery of our service men and women. Such a momentous place in history and the details wonderfully foretold by our tour guide Steve. The trip was well planned with ample stops during the drive to and fro as well as well-times intervals at each stop to stay on track to to see all the amazing sites. Definitely recommend!
