Early start beat the crowds
pamom247, Dec 2022
Our guide was knowledgeable and knew EXACTLY where to bring us for those uncrowded beautiful photos ops. We had time to walk the gardens, town, take many pictures and have a relaxed lunch in Giverny. Our time inside Versailles was adequate. More time was required to tour the grounds, purchase tickets and get to the Petit Trianon by tram...the lines were excruciating and disorganized. We wound up taking a tram ride to the Trianon but had no time to enter. We were very disappointed and wasted a lot of time. We were warned there may not be enough time.
DO NOT do this tour in a group, I...

DO NOT do this tour in a group, I beg you! Especially if you are truly interested in these locations and don't want to be tied down. Our guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant. We had more than adequate time at each location and the place he chose for us for lunch was quite good with very pleasant and accommodating staff. I wish I could remember his name, but I am writing this review months later.
