The crowd is very large. The statues are fabulous. The Mona Lisa is hard to see close up but worth it. I would have a tour guide to help navigate as the Louvre is quite large.

Mona, Venus and Nike a winning trio

Our guide Monica was so informative and worked our group of 20 or so to keep us engaged. She led us into a side entrance of the Louvre to skip the line outside. She took us to see the big three attractions, the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and the Winged Nike but was certain to offer us details on many sculptures and paintings along the way. The 2.5 hour tour went quickly, and it included plenty of walking. 95% of the patrons in the Louvre on Sept. 14, 2023 wore comfortable tennis shoes and the other 5% wish they had. Seeing Crown Jewels of Louis XIV and other kings was worth the price of admission too. The Louvre is the largest museum in the world. The Viator tour didn’t touch 90% of the museum but it was valuable and worthy to tag alongside Monica. We did a little more viewing on our own but headed back to the hotel to rest our feet.

Our guide Reuben was brilliant. He invited us to be interactive which added to the historical experience, as well as an introduction to the different painting styles. The two hours was a good tour length. Beware, there's quite a few steps.

The Louvre is a difficult place to see in a 2 hour tour with the amount of art and history present. Our tour guide Monica had an obvious passion for Greek Antiquities and sculpture. I loved learning about all of this. However, another person may not have been so interested in this specific history. I feel as though there should probably be a variety of tours to pick from where you can focus on one or 2 areas of the museum and then of course see the 'must see' works of art like the Venus de Milo and Mona Lisa. All in all, this is a must-do event while in Paris. But to be honest, it is a very overwhelming experience.

I was overwhelmed to my sole to have the privilege of see the great works. I almost cried on seeing Venus de Milo. The tour guide, Osvoldo, brought us through both the history of the museum and the March of the displayed works.

This tour included admission ticket to The Louvre, some tours do not. Check in with the provided voucher was quick and easy. What really made this tour a hit was our guide Osvald. He made the most of our 3hr tour. He was very knowledgeable about the art and at the same time very congenial. Just a very nice person. Bravo Osvald!
