Everyone has time to explore the inside of the Chateau at the end of the bike tour (typically at 3:30pm). After this you can travel back to Paris at your own pace using the train tickets we provided you.
All participants should be able to ride a bike with confidence.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 14 travellers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Aside from Versailles itself as a spectacle, our tour guide Jude was appealing. He was laid back but informative and showed excellent knowledge about the place, the historic time and the important characters. He ran a good tour.

Biking thru Versailles

Monan made the day so easy and fun. We could rent a bike anywhere and see the sights, but Monan's passion made us feel the sights. Everything was so organized, from the train ride to wondering thru Versailles. It was simply a great day. And except for one issue with the bike handle bars, they collapsed and i scraped my arm a little and tore my shoes 🙁 , but I did not go down. 👍 We tightened the bars and we were back on schedule.

Versailles is a huge Chateau enabling biking a great way to see the surrounding grounds. We were also provided a ticket to tour the inside. The guide was very knowledgeable.

Really enjoyed this big day out! Lovely welcome at the cafe followed by a well timed sequence of visits and stops to fill the day. Too many people, too slow.

Lovely tour and great day. However, there were too many people in the “small group”. The organizer said they had to move people to our day because Versailles was going to be closed. That’s fine but if the business is going to do that then they need more guides. With 15 people the tour was too slow. We did not see much of the gardens which is actually the highlight of a trip to Versailles. Many of the other tours had under 10 people and they were operating with the same closure issues.

We loved this tour. Rachel is an excellent guide and she has a very unique way of explaining the history of the palace so that her customers are able to understand. We left the palace feeling like history experts after our tour. The visit to the local food market and the picnic on the palace grounds is a treat. The bikes are in good condition and Rachel hosts an informative, safe and fun ride around the French countryside.

Book this tour now! Monan was so kind and very informative. We started with a visit to the market to purchase lunch for a picnic later along the canal. I would recommend bringing a recycled grocery bag and a small travel blanket if you have one available:). Our guide was well prepared with a wine opener and cheese knife. Next we biked to the side of the estate where we entered the gardens. In my opinion…the gardens and grounds of Versailles are by far the most impressive part. After a short visit to Marie Antoinette’s villa and the queens Hamlet we enjoyed a lovely lunch next to the canal. Finally, our guide led us to the entrance of the palace to explore on our own. You don’t need too much time. The Hall of Mirrors is impressive. Our guide gave us the history about its significance which we appreciated very much!

Marley, our tour guide was amazing! Had the whole family captivated (including the 10 & 12 year olds)! Seeing Versailles on bikes was an amazing way to cover a lot of ground. We were only 8 persons and it was a very lovely, relaxed and interesting tour with our very friendly guide David! He told us all about the history of Versailles and he had the answer to every question. The picknick was beautiful at the lake there! We would book this tour again!!

We were unable to make the trip the morning it was scheduled. We were told by the tour guide that there would be a fee for rebooking and encouraged not to show up later that day. It was then communicated to us that we lost the value of the entire trip and that there was nothing transferrable (even though the tour guide told us that a portion of the trip would be transferrable). No money at all was refunded and we are very upset and do not recommend.
