If we could give Liza a “10 star” we would. The food on this tour, her knowledge of the food/history/area were all fabulous. She is knowledgeable, professional and fun. We seemed to go at our own pace, but we had a full and informative tour. HIGHLY recommend! I’d do it again!

I truly have no words. Jk, I have plenty! Here they are— Beatrice met us in Piazza Garibaldi and surprised us with the fact that it was a PRIVATE food tour! A pleasant surprise (I should pay more attention when booking I guess) and a first for us. It was so amazing. We got a thorough history lesson regarding the foods, their origins, traditions, methods and processes as well as historical lessons on the cities, buildings, churches and lifestyle and culture. The gelato ruined all other gelatos for me forever because it was so good. The meats were the best I’ve ever eaten. The cheese was divine! The cakes and cookies were amazing. We had this artichoke pie that was incredible. I was so stuffed but I kept eating because it was all so delicious. Tour aside, the selection of restaurants we went to alone were worth the price and time. Throw in the wonderful history lessons and knowledge we gained and I would have paid twice as much in a heartbeat! The guide was wonderful and I loved being able to ask her questions without feeling like I was interrupting some script. The pace was also perfect which you don’t get with group tours. Those always feel so rushed and crammed. This was such a wonderful experience and one I will never forget!

This experience was worth its weight in gold. Serena has a true passion for food and a thorough understanding of the foods of her region. She guided us through all the top spots and we were able to see/taste so much in a short period of time, something that we wouldn't have been able to do without her. By the end of the tour, I felt that she was part of our family, wish I could have brought her back to Chicago with us!!!

We had a lovely afternoon with Michelle on our Parma food tour. We learned so much not only about food but also about the history of Parma. Michelle is incredibly knowledgeable and obviously passionate about all things Parma! All of the food we tried was excellent and we left stuffed. We did realize after we did not make the sandwich/focaccia stop although it may have been due to weather, we noted some places closing early because of rain, and we also were so full at the end of our tour I'm not sure I could have eaten more. We loved our food tour and it was definitely a highlight of our two week trip to Italy. We hope to come back some day and do another tour with Michelle!

Unfortunately, I was irresponsible with my purse and lost it while on our tour. We decided to continue and had an amazing day. Our guide Serena was knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. She even stayed with us following the tour to take us to the police to report my lost purse, translated for us, and helped us get home. Parma is a beautiful place and the food and tour was fantastic (the purse was a random thing!).
