What To Expect

After morning pickup at your Perth CBD hotel or a central meeting point, travel to the delightful Caversham Wildlife Park, where you can wander among the open-air exhibits and see with Australia’s amazing wildlife, including a koala, kangaroos, and a wombat.

Continue on to the coastal town of Cervantes, where you get a behind-the-scenes look at the local lobster fishing industry. During an audio-guided tour of a lobster processing plant, stand on a catwalk above an impressive 20 tons of live rock lobster. Afterward, enjoy a fish and chips lunch with an optional lobster upgrade at the Lobster Shack.

Experience one of Australia’s most mystical landscapes with a guided tour of Pinnacles Desert, located inside Nambung National Park. Walk among the iconic and mysterious formations that are believed to be remnants of prehistoric seashells, and browse exhibits at the visitor center to learn more about the area’s fascinating geologic history.

Next, get your adrenaline pumping on a 4WD adventure across Lancelin’s massive sand dunes. You can also careen down the dunes on a sandboard for a unique and thrilling desert experience.

Rest easy on the return drive to Perth, where your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

Was a fantastic day, I would recommend this tour to anyone. Peter was a fantastic guide, who has an excellent knowledge of Perth and WA. The Pinnacles are amazing, nothing else like them in the world. The fish and chips at the Lobster Shack, were close to the best I've ever had.

Unexpectedly, the highlight of the trip was sandboarding in the dunes - great fun for young and old. The views along the way and the Pinnacles were really amazing. In the sanctuary we could take pictures with a koala and a wombat (included in the price of the visit). The trip was well organized, the visits to the next points on the route went smoothly, and our driver and guide in one was competent, kind and looked after the group well.

Picked up meters from my hotel and off we go. The zoo stop with free photos of yourself with Kangroos, Koalas and Wombats was brilliant. The keepers dote on the animals and the animals seem to return the love. The lobster meal was excellent including the vegi alternative. The sand boarding was safe, easy and very fun stop. The pinnacles were not the amazing feature I expected but were nice to see. The sum total of all the events and the skilled driver/guide made this a great and well paced day.

It was surely more than expected! Zoo experience was excellent, sand dune boarding was also nice, and got hopped to the coach through all the way was super relaxing. Actually, I rent a car and drove to Wave rocks by myself. Rocks were stunning, yet driving 8 hours round trip with monotonous scene was a kind of torture. Thus, I appreciated my coach driver today! To conclude, it was full of enjoyment and it definitely worth to pay. It looks expensive, but in reality, it is cost-effective.

Mick our driver was absolutely amazing, very informative all the journey highlighting different aspects on the way had a great sense of humour making our tour an amazing experience. Whilst experiencing the 4 x 4 Sand Dune ride Mick turned into a Hero digging two stranded young ladies out of the Sand Dunes !!!!! Deserves a lot of Credit , due to the sun was setting, one of the ladies was heavily pregnant as well !!!

Our guide, Gordon, was extremely knowledgeable on pretty much every subject and very personable. The pick up at our hotel was easy. The four parts of the tour were all very different and gave us a wonderful sampling of areas around Perth. The wildlife park was the nicest of several we had visited. The lobster factory tour was interesting and lunch was very good. The beach and Indian Ocean were quite beautiful. The Pinnacles was something we will always remember, and the dunes 4x4 drive and sand boarding were a perfect way to end our day (Robbie was our guide and he was a lot of fun.) The scenery along the way is also worth mentioning.

The whole day was planned very well and nothing felt rushed. The highlight for me was the Sand boarding and 4WD. It was very windy so a lot of sand blowing around, but the boarding itself was a lot of fun. Driving over the dunes was so exciting and fun!
