The otherworldly landscapes of the Pinnacles Desert are one of Western Australia’s most impressive natural wonders, found just north of Perth in the Nambung National Park. On this tour, admire the Pinnacles at their most magical during a sunset visit, enjoy a sunset dinner in the desert, and stay after-dark for a thrilling stargazing experience. Along the way, stop to try sandboarding at the famous Lancelin Sand Dunes, take a guided walk along the banks of Moore River where your tour guide will show plants used by the Aborigines for food and medicine.

Overall a Fantastic tour! Our driver Skip was welcoming, helpful and best of all comedic. There was a few surprises on the tour that were awesome additions. Unfortunately, due to weather we couldn't see the stars but it was still worth it. The dinner was suitable for celiacs just need to specify ahead of time so you can get gf bread.

It was a fantastic experience. Gavin is very knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts. The sand boarding was a lot of fun and laughter. The highlight of course is the Pinnacles Desert, I was blown away by the sight of all the sandstone pinnacles as I wasn’t expecting that many. The BBQ dinner was tasty and there was more than enough for everyone. The stargazing was epic and we even saw Saturn using Gavin’s huge telescopes. This is an experience I would 100% recommend. Thanks to Gavin and Sam from Lumineer Adventure Tours.

Brilliant evening under the stars in magical surroundings. Despite the cloudy, windy weather our guides did their best to make sure we saw the stars and seeing Saturn through the telescope was amazing. Providing blankets was very thoughtful.

This trip was so well organised. The bus was comfortable and Gavin provided interesting commentary along the way. The Pinnacles are unique and have an interesting history. Seeing tem at sunset and into the night was so special. Gavin was organised in setting us all up for comfortable stargazing, after offering a fresh and well prepared dinner. The telescope and use of binnoculars provided a great view of the night sky. Time to snooze on the journey back into Town.

Sam's 😃 face and greeting when entering the bus was a great start to the tour. I wasn't sure about sand boarding at Lancelin but Gavin's encouragement and assistance saw me surfing down the dunes with excitement. By far, star gazing at the Pinnacles was the highlight. Gavin gave all of us multiple opportunities to view the plannets and milky way through the telescopes. A very unique, interesting experience

Great day trip - little moments along the way to the pinnacles we’re fun and the operators were extremely friendly and helpful. As someone on holiday I found the park at golden hour to be gorgeous and haven’t seen the stars so clear in some time. Definitely recommended for those visiting Perth.

Gavin is such a good guide and he accommodated everything well! We enjoyed the wonderful sunset, lay down on mats with warm blankets and binoculars just right under the starry night! An awesome meal with delicious sausages, salads and wine! Gavin made the sand surfing so joyful and he just made sure everyone got their many turns! It was fun! Highly recommend, it worth visiting!

Thumbs up to Gavin, our tour guide cum driver! He's very experienced and knowledgeable, which made everyone enjoyed the tour. Good thing is our hotel is one of the available pickup point for this tour. About one day before the trip, I received an email and text message stating the pickup point and timing as a confirmation. Driver came on time and we managed to spot the vehicle right outside our hotel, it's a size of about 15 pax van. Later on I realise that big buses couldn't drive deep into the desert, which explains why our tour was done on van. Sandboarding was safe and fun, definitely willing to try it again next time. Great dinner along with stargazing at the desert. Once again, kudos to the tour guide!
Facinating Experience but cut the loud music

Our guide, Gavin, shared lots of interesting information about plants and animals in the area, especially how the aborigines used various plants for food, weapons building, etc. Sand boarding was fun. Second stop beach was a waste of time. Pinnacles and star gazing facinating. Again, our guide Gavin, provided lots of information. Cookout pretty good. Unfortunately, Gavin blasted rock music on the late ride home when silence would have been appropriate and appreciated.
