Carlos was a very good guide. He made sure that everyone onboard was taken good care of, very knowledgeable on Perth and its history, as well as the star constellations for viewing. Being the driver and tour guide, he had to prepare everything all by himself and he could handle it with ease. I would love to go on tours by him again, and strongly recommend people to go on this tour! Money well-spent!

Beware of the flies

Took an hour to pick up all the 23 people.On the way 2 stops one in Lancelin one in Hangover Beach. Nothing special just a beach.Just killing time as it was a hot day so entering to the park was delayed till 5pm Prepare for the flies its overwhelming!! No spray helps either! The driver Sue was very knowledgeable but like a dog with a bone,chasing emus with the bus,so we turned around several time to see 2 in the distance-wow! Than she did it on tge way home in the pitch dark with kangaroos-most people who are visiting already seen these animals in much better condition so this was just a waste of time. The pinnacles were impressive but virtually you only have 1.50 hours to see than darkness This was supposed to be to see the stars tour- well one small telescope was set up by Sue and all you could see was the moon. So nearly 11 hours tour for a,short view of the pinnacles-not really a good deal.

"Sue did a fantastic job driving us to the Pinnacles, and the experience of being there was absolutely magical. However, the food was disappointing, and we were a bit underwhelmed by the stargazing portion as Sue did not use the telescope."

Laura, our tour guide was the best thing about this tour! She truly was fantastic, her energy and dedication to make the experience memorable was undeniable! Due to weather, we didn’t get a sunset not star gazing but that’s ok, that can’t be helped. It was still a beautiful area and the pinnacles were pretty cool. The itinerary however with the 2, other lookout spots is in need of a revisit. I understand you have to get people off the bus and give the guide a break in driving, I would suggest the tour operators find alternative options, these were underwhelming. I don’t feel the tour as is, is worth the amount you pay. The concept is fantastic and with a few adjustments to the itin I think it would be a much better experience! So grateful we had Laura, she truly was fantastic and would opt to do another tour with her. The stars and sunset can’t be helped, that’s luck of the draw - perhaps it may have bolstered the experience a little more, but even still the pinnacles and evening were really lovely. If I did it again, I would self-drive.

A beautiful day started at lunchtime. First at the stunning Hangover Bay, then at the lunar Pinnacles Park. Carlos, our guide, was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He fascinated us with his stories. Finally, he prepared an excellent picnic under the stars. Highly recommended tour. Pinnacles Park is indescribable. We even played with a kangaroo. Silvia & Davide

The Pinnacles should be on everyone's bucket list. Sue was a great tour guide and she laid out a lovely traditional Aussie picnic under the stars. I think the tour itinerary should either be shortened or some other activities included.

Appreciate the guide meal preparation and setup for our dining in the dark experience. Relax pace but didn’t expect the tour to stretch for an extra 1.5 hours, but driver is kind enough to accommodate alternative drop off points.

Long ride with appropriately timed toilet breaks and stopovers at the gas station. Nice stories from the guide, Lauren. My kids are captivated by the stories. Cool experience to dine in the dark outdoors (in the desert) with the company of really really stunning stars.

Great trip - solo traveller, small group

Sue was an awesome tour guide! She was fun, made the trip super relaxed, gave us great historical information about the relevant Australian history, Pinnacles, and great info about the stars! She had our dinner set up beautifully before the star gazing and helped find an alternative spot because our original site for stargazing was covered by cloud. Bonus was she was able to drop most of us off at our hotels seeing as their were all so close to each other.

The Pinnacles were interesting

I thought from the description that we would visit multiple national parks which was not the case. Wrong time of year for any flowers. Stopped at Lancelin look out and then onto Pinnacles. Sadly no stars to see as cloudy. Guide did his best. Wouldn’t do the 2.5 hr road trip for this again.
