Informative

The tour was very informative. The entire tour was outdoors. No entrance to any of the buildings. The tour guide was very educated and friendly.

We learned a lot and our guide was very nice, knowledgeable and fun!! It was a nice experience!! Cccccccccccccccccccccc
Facts but some personal bias felt
Angela_P, May 2023
The tour guide was very knowledgable. We did enjoy the tour but feel that instead of focusing on the founding fathers and the great that they did, there is a heavy emphasis on slavery and slaves. We understand that slavery was a terrible fact of history but there are also positive and important information that happened in history that should be taught. Focus should be more on the constitution and what it means and what it was about.
Great Tour

The story of George Washington and his slaves in Philadelphia. We hadn't heard that before. Not a very nice story in modern terms. Melissa our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting.
Great overview of History

Our guide ‘V’ gave just the right amount of information. I liked that he gave the perspective of Philadelphians in some of the stories. This was a great tour to take on the first day of our stay in Philadelphia as we got an overview of places we wanted to see more in-depth. Hint: wear good walking shoes, some area are uneven and/or cobble stoned.
Interesting tour.

Our guide was great and extraordinarily knowledgeable. A true American history connoisseur!! This tour is a quick walking tour that hits all the key points of interests street front without entering the buildings.
Truly amazing!
David_M, Apr 2023
The storytelling was fantastic and our guide was so patriotic and respectful of our country, state, and the city. In a time when so many people only see the bad in our history, our guide had a nice balance between the good and bad, while sharing with us the culture at the time, and the struggle to end slavery while trying to build a nation. Highly recommend!
