I would recommend some tree trimming be done by the city to make the journey safer.

The convenience of hop on and off is helpful, just this particular guide just was lacking knowledge and staying focus.

Fun day exploring Philly

The tour guides were great, very knowledgeable about the city and history and even gave us tips on safety near some of the sights. The buses took a little longer than they said, about 30 mins instead of 20. Other than that it was a great experience!

I had 11 and 9 year old grandchildren for a visit to Philadelphia. The on/off bus is a great way to see the high points in the city. Our guide Billy was great. Kids loved his sense of humor.

The bus was a little awkward, I would absolutely not recommend this in the summer. There seems to be seats on the lower part but our tour guide was up top so that's where most people sat. A lot of points in the tour was our tour guide screaming duck as there were tons of tree branches and stuff in the way up top. Other than that we did get to see quite a few things, our tour guide was engaging and had a lot of facts for us which I liked a lot. I would do this again when it is cooler because you can get off the bus at several different places and another tour bus will come by at certain times to pick you up if you want to continue the tour.

When we arrived to board at Stop 1 (the Independence Visitor Centre) there was confusion over our Viator booking. This was eventually resolved after a call to their office however may be worth Viator looking into this as it was mentioned that this was a regular occurrence. We wanted to get off at the Eastern State Penitentiary but due to road works we were dropped 10 -15 mins away and had to walk the rest. We were then uncertain where to board to resume our tour so walked to the Rocky steps (around 25 mins). From there the tour resumed and overall we enjoyed it and thought it was worth the cost charged.

Very accommodating as we had a person in a wheelchair. Only issue was second driver did not stop at all stops or ask if we wanted to stop so ended up having to walk 20 blocks back to hotel.

The experience was fantastic, this is the best way to visit Philadelphia if you are in town for the day. On the top deck, you can take pictures of the city without the crowd being on the way and the stops were very convenient if you want to hop-off and explore the attraction up close.
