Please keep in mind that you will be standing for the duration of your tour - these recommendations are for your comfort and safety:
Wear comfortable but not loose clothing.

Wear secure, flat, comfortable shoes, preferably close-toed sneakers or athletic shoes. Flip-flops, high heels, or wedges are not appropriate.
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER - we ride rain or shine. If it is a cold day, dress as if you are going skiing (gloves, hat, coat, etc.). If it is a hot, sunny day, wear sunscreen, bring sunglasses, and a water bottle. You will be outside for the duration of your tour.
Please arrive early. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
After you check in, there will be a 30 minute training session including an instructional video. You must complete this training to your guide's satisfaction - even if you've ridden a Segway before.
Once everyone is trained and feels confident riding a Segway, we start the tour!
Philly by Segway reserves the right to decline a tour to anyone. It is imperative that riders follow guide instructions for their safety and the safety of the group.

Cici was incredible giving an informative and hilarious tour in true philly fashion! We are locals and still enjoyed learning some new facts while trying some cheesesteak places we hadn't been to yet and of course judging them against our favorites. This tour takes you through a big chunk of the city and is a great way to view the sites in center city, old city, and south city. All while taking a relaxing scenic tour through Philly and pausing to eat yummy steaks. But again, the highlight was our tour guide Cici who made us laugh and have an incredible time.

This tour was one of the best experiences we had in Philadelphia. James, our tour guide, did an excellent job helping us feel comfortable, and he did a great job navigating us through the streets of Philadelphia. At each stop, our cheesesteaks were ready and excellent. James provided us with information regarding the sites that we traveled by and did so in a way that was enjoyable yet informational. He was very professional and family-friendly in his commentary. Within a few hours, he uploaded all of the photos of us that he took while we were on the tour. The Segways were in great share, and they were all dependable. Your visit to Philadelphia won't be complete if you don't do this tour.

The tour was awesome. "D" was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He fully trained each one in our party and we didn't leave until everyone was able to maneuver to his safety level. we went all through Philly on the Segways. The entire trip took about 2 hours. As soon as we arrived at each place, he helped us park the Segways and then ran in to get the cheese steak, while we found seating. He took pictures throughout our trip and even air dropped them to each of us at the end. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience

Way cool--motoring around Philly on Segway scooters and cutting the long lines at five--count 'em five--separate, iconic cheesesteak eateries to sample the exquisiteness embodied in the Philly Cheesteak. :- Barry was a great tour guide, and made sure everyone stayed safe on their Segways as we toured downtown Philadelphia from Chinatown to the Italian Market, from Penn Landing to Society Hill. Just enough culture and trivia to satisfy our brains, but basically this was a cheesesteak crawl on scooters! And even novices can become highly proficient on a Segway in about 10 minutes--a very natural vehicle to maneuver. Top marks and a great afternoon overall. P.S.
