Four hours plus tour, Adam, our tour guide was very professional, friendly, and informative. We enjoyed the comfortable pace, not rushed. He answered all questions and has a good sense of humor. Highly recommended!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She shared much information about the history of the American Revolution and how Valley Forge evolved into a huge winter camp for the colonial volunteers to train to become soldiers. Seeing the house where General Washington planned and communicated with officers was excellent and the memorial church built in remembrance of Washington was a gem. It was a great day.

Our tour guide James was a PHD in history which surprised me, but it was great because he had a wealth of knowledge. He did a great job and would highly recommend his tour!

This was a small group tour with an excellent guide. You visit the various sites in a small SUV van.

I went to Valley Forge with RIck from WeVenture through viator. I was the only person to sign up that day, and he still took me and gave me a personalized tour. There is no other way to get there outside of a tour unless you drive and even if you do, Valley Forge is so vast, you have to know where you are going. Rick had encyclopedic knowledge of Revolutionary history and was able to contextualize the past and present in a way that brought the material to life. Besides being a great history tour , the land itself is a beautiful, maybe unrated, national park. This is a highly recommended tour.

If you want to learn more about the Revolutionary War, this tour puts you right where George Washington marched his continental soldiers to in the winter of 1777 to fend off the British. Photos show the crude huts built to keep out the elements for the troops. The brick house was rented for George & Martha Washington, along with some of his staff. You get to go into both! Our tour guide, Rick, has a real passion for US history and gave us a great commentary throughout. He was very personable with our small group. We throughly enjoyed our day.

Valley Forge worth the visit

Great guide! Laura was outstanding. The tour picked up in the city. Pretty drive out to Valley Forge. We stopped at the Visitor’s Center first and then toured the park. The park is large and a combination recreational area and historical site. The highlight was Washington’s house on the grounds. Overall, well worth the visit.

Our guide, Tom, was excellent. My husband and I had only a short amount of time to be in Philadelphia and we wanted to make the most of it. We decided on the Valley Forge tour and we were not disappointed at all. It has been many years since we were in high school and had forgotten much of our American History. It was great to have it refreshed. Tom was very knowledgeable about the subject and eager to share stories and experiences he had researched. I cannot say enough good about how he handled the tour and he made it fun as well.
