What To Expect

Get an early start with hotel pickup in Phuket.

Transfer to the Phuket Boat Lagoon Marina where you can snack on light refreshments, coffee, and tea as you get ready to set out to your first destination, Maya Bay, which appeared in the movie 'The Beach.' featuring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Upon arrival at Maya Bay, go swimming in the crystal clear waters. Moving on, you'll visit Monkey beach, Pileh Cove, Viking Cave, and Loh Samah Bay.

Stop at Phi Phi Don Island for a buffet lunch, then go by speedboat to a secluded snorkeling spot with tropical marine life and colorful corals.

Your final destination is Khai Island, a perfect place for swimming, snorkeling, or sunbathing on the white sand beaches. Partake in other water sports such as the banana boat or jet ski (own expense).

In the late afternoon, return to the Phuket marina, then transfer back to your hotel by minivan to end your tour.

Get ready for an exciting day on the water! Our friendly driver will pick you up from the main lobby of your hotel at around 7:30 AM and take you to our private marina. Once you arrive, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, and a snack while you receive a program introduction and safety briefing from our experienced, English-speaking local tour guide. Sit back, relax, and get ready for a memorable day on the water.

Loh Samah Bay

Loh Samah Bay is a beautiful and serene location located on the southern side of the Phi Phi Islands Group. The depth of the bay ranges from 5 to 20 meters and visibility is typically between 5 and 15 meters. The walls of the bay are covered in hard and soft coral and shellfish, making it a perfect home for the sea inhabitants of Phi Phi Island. You can find numerous scorpionfish, parrotfish, and other species in the area. When we visit Loh Samah Bay, we will dock and get off at the bay itself rather than at Maya Bay. From there, you will have the opportunity to take breathtaking photos of both Sama Bay and Maya Bay. Please note that due to new regulations from the national park, we may be required to queue up to enter Maya Bay. This could take up to 20-30 minutes, but you can still enjoy the stunning views from the front deck of our boat during this time. We hope you have a wonderful time exploring this beautiful and peaceful location.

Maya Bay in Thailand is now open to tourists and visitors after being officially relaunched on January 1, 2021. However, swimming is not permitted within the bay itself due to reef protection measures set by the Thailand government. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has announced that the island will be closed again from August to September in order to allow for natural rehabilitation. We encourage all visitors to respect these measures and to take care of the island's sensitive ecology during their visit.

While we always strive to offer the best possible wildlife viewing experience, there may be times when the monkeys are not visible during the tour. While our boat does have a toilet, it may be cramped if you need to change clothes inside. Therefore, we recommend wearing your swimsuit under your clothing to make it easier to change.
We would like to inform you that the motion experienced on our speedboat tour may be intense and could potentially cause motion sickness to some passengers. To alleviate this, we have made seasick pills available for purchase at our marina office upon check-in. It is important to note that while the pills can help, they may not be suitable for everyone and it is recommended that you consult with your doctor prior to taking them if you have any medical concerns. Our priority is the comfort and safety of all our guests, and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
We do provide our guests with complementary soft drinks and water, as well as fresh fruits, during their visit to Khai Island. However, please be aware that additional services, such as beach chair rental and the purchase of alcoholic drinks, may be offered and charged by the local vendors.
To use a snorkeling mask, start by rinsing it with fresh water to remove any debris. Then, place the mask over your face, adjust the straps for a comfortable and secure fit, and press the mask against your face to eliminate any air pockets. Breathe normally through your nose to equalize the pressure inside the mask. Once you are comfortable, put the snorkel in your mouth and start snorkeling. If the mask starts to leak or fog up, gently lift it off your face, clear it of water, and adjust the straps or mask position as needed. . If you feel uncomfortable or experience difficulty breathing, remove the mask and snorkel immediately. It's important to note that you should never dive or swim underwater with the snorkel, and always use caution while snorkeling. If you do this, water would enter the snorkel tube and cut off your ability to breath.

Jam Packed excursion

This excursion packed a lot into the day…maybe too much! There were many brief stops and none seemed like long enough! This is a nice excursion if you like snorkeling and taking pictures but not so much for the beach. The final stop at the beach involved walking over sharp sea shells to get to a cordoned off area of beach and water. Our hosts were friendly and they kept us hydrated. The food for lunch was delicious.

We booked the trip the night before and within five minutes they were in contact to make sure we were ready to go! Cindy was our guide and she was hilarious and just awesome. Everything we saw was so beautiful. We thought it might feel like such a long day, but everything was scheduled so perfectly that the whole day was a breeze. The only downer was how busy everything was, but granted it was New Years Eve and a Saturday. Would definitely recommend trips through this group!

The tour very good, the guide was very friendly and fun. They picked us up at the hotel, even though it was not close to the departure pier. The time we were waiting for all passengers to arrive was quiet, there was juice, coffee and some snacks available. Only the bathroom had a queue. The price paid for the tour I thought was worth it and the place is wonderful. The waters are beautiful, and the place for snorkeling is very nice. I did the scuba dive for an extra fee, but I didn't know I'd have to leave my arm and go in another direction. So those with family have this inconvenience because I didn't know I was going to a place and my family would stay on the boat, but other than that everything was perfect. Lunch was well served, although the food is typical Asian, and for us Brazilians, it was a little sweet and spicy. It was a nice and smooth ride, the weather was good for sailing and we took a walk on Maya Beach and snorkeled in the corals at the last stop. I recommend the experience. The Diamond company delivered what it promised.

Lovely experience! Just be aware, meeting time is at 8am and you will not depart until 10am, 2 hours of wasted time at the dock. Monkey beach = no entry, Maya Bay = no swimming. So be aware that this experience does exclude those activities. Snorkelling and swimming at 4 of the locations! Buffet lunch provided. Beautiful day but expect to be out for a full day. We were out for 10 hours!!

The whole trip was well organised & the staff all very good - our guide Nett was excellent, he was funny informative & helpful with photo's, snacks & drinks, we were never left wanting. The boat was comfortable with only approx. 20 guests aboard, the meal on Phi Phi was standard fare for a tour - OK but not great. The sights & stops were awesome & we all had a great day, perhaps the only slight negative was the stop at Khai Island, it was the last stop on the way back - it is nothing special but still OK.

Cindy was our guide and was very helpful. Our other helpers on board Mr. Man as they called both of them were very helpful too. I don't know much of swimming. But they encouraged and I was able to snorkel using the life jacket with the guide constantly by my side to monitor me. They literally taught me how to snorkel. Very good experience. The waters were clear and must experience.
