the trip was absolutely great! suited for families and not a long one. The instractor Jackie was very helpfull and funny, all was very exlplained and no surprises. the boat had shady places to seat, the group was about 20-25 people. I read reviews before so please pay attention to these notes: 1. bring a hat and a beach towel with you 2. there's a pier shaky walking to enter Coral island so the trip not suited for disabled 3. bring cash for all water activities they don't take credit cards Well Done! definately recommanded!!!

Chaos at all stages

This excursion involved 2 catamarans and 50 or so passengers. The time spent organising the mini bus loads of passengers at the meeting point and then the wharf and actually getting on to the boats was lengthy. Eventually the catamarans cast off and motored to the Coral Island. Once we got there one of the activities was cancelled due to high currents so we staggered across a floating walkway to the beach and went swimming, sat in shade, drank water until it was time to stagger back across the walkway to board the catamarans. Then motored back snacking on terrible food. Fishing lines were handed out and many people fished for about half an hour before we motored back to the wharf and then disembarked, all before actual sunset. Then organised chaos trying to allocate people to buses (not sure what was wrong with the original lists used to allocate people to buses for the pickup in the morning) Definitely not recommended as an activity.

4/5 stars because too many people for that boat size. Considering that it was raining and everyone was trying to get in. Towels were not available even confirmed on the booking. The staff was excellent and very friendly. They did a great job!

The boat is a bit small and crowded. Almost 30 ppl on a boat and some need to stay at the deck during sailing. The service is quite good though. Nice tour guide and photo taking service (voluntary tips)

Overall experience was not great, staff was not helpful at all. They took our video but never shared even after requesting so much. Did not provide vegetarian food and not even banana for kid after requesting so much....never take this package

We had a good day out as a family. Three generations all enjoyed it. More snorkeling time and less beach time would have been better, but all in all, a good day. The sunset was worth waiting for. The crew were excellent.

Pick up from hotel was prompt and comfortable. Highly organized group experience. Cat was comfortable, good English tour guide. 1\2 hour swim, couple hours on beach where there was a bar. Food was at the beach in comfortable setting and was excellent! Highlight was underway and the sunset was awesome on the water. We both thought it was tremendous value. Dropped off at the hotel. Highly recommended! If we come back we would definitely do this again.

Great romantic cruise

We were looking for a romantic sunset cruise and incredibly happy we chose this one. Had everything we were looking for and more. In addition to the sunset - we were able to stop at various beaches to relax. Only downside is that they mentioned they would include a towel - but the sun was our towel anyway - and that food would be onboard but the buffet was on land. I would still do this again !!

Overall a good tour, coral island is beautiful and the boat ride was fun. Good food and great snorkeling spot. We didn’t actually see the sunset, boat was already back to the pier by then. They don’t serve alcohol fyi but you can buy drinks on coral island. Staff was mostly great but the photographer only seemed to photo one small group the whole time. The drives to the pier took forever due to what seemed like communication issues, and they picked us up an hour before advertised. Get a lot for your money on this.

Slippers will be taken away before you board the catamaran. Our feet was burning when stepping out of the shade to take photos. Do buy a swimming socks before boarding. They sell it at the departure place. Music was too loud, felt like it was blasting in my ears. We were given a 40 minutes snorkel time. I travelled with kids. After I settled my kid, putting on snorkel, felt like we only had 30 minutes. By the time my husband took over my 2 year old, I didn’t had a chance to dip my face into the water and it was time to go already. Wish we were given more time. Don’t bother packing lunch to eat at Coral Island as outside food is not allowed. On the way back, we manage to catch some fish during the fishing session, they were then returned to the ocean. Overall still a great experience, the catamaran was beautiful and we enjoyed our time.

Schlecht organisiert, lange Wartezeiten, der Segelkatamaran ist keiner...Massenabfertigung, volle Strände, Quallen beim schnorcheln und Teilnehmer würden nicht gewarnt...

Très déçus de cette excursion. Sur les photos et la description on nous promet un catamaran qui n’est pas du tout celui sur lequel nous sommes montés, un nombre de personnes beaucoup trop important, nous étions environ 25-30 tous entassés à l’avant du bateau, avec un filet minuscule ! Le descriptif de la journée est complètement différent, nous n’avons pas nagé et sauté du bateau, on nous a déposé sur la plage directement. Pas non plus de pêche comme prévu et seulement un arrêt de 5min à peine a Promphtep pour prendre une photo. Nous avons vu le coucher de soleil non pas sur la mer mais caché derrière la montagne à 100m du port. Pas non plus de musique ni d’ambiance sur le bateau, qui avait plus l’air d’un transport banal sur lequel nous n’avons pas pu profiter !
