What To Expect

Meet your guide at your hotel in the morning for an early departure time and head for the foothills of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano. Groups of four people or more will receive private tours for a highly personalized experience, while groups of fewer than four people will join another small group for an equally intimate excursion.

Upon arrival, attend a safety briefing and begin your adventure with a heart-pumping canopy tour in a tropical rainforest. Scale and rappel down large rock faces, scamper across a ferrate wall, and free fall on a Tarzan swing with the help of guides and premium safety equipment.

Then, hop into a personal tube to float down the Rio Negro for 90 minutes, watching out for birds, monkeys, and reptiles in their natural habitats as you go.

Relax and refuel with a typical Costa Rican lunch before mounting a horse for a ride through a tropical dry forest en route to a hot spring. Watch the afternoon light illuminate the volcano against the savanna all the way to the hot spring, where a mud wrap awaits you.

Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the tour.

Perfect excursion.
Kelly_M, Sept 2021
I highly recommend this excursion. Our tour guide, Carlos, was very friendly and helpful. The staff was great and everything about the day was a perfect experience. The zip lining is a lot of fun with gorgeous views as you’re moving through the trees. Staff is extremely helpful and they are sure to maintain your safety at all times. The water tubing on rapids was thrilling and it was great to experience the views and wildlife. The tour guides were on tubes right behind you making sure you stayed afloat and got through the water safely. Once this was done we had mud baths and hot springs which were beautiful. The day ended with a wonderful authentic Costa Rican lunch. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

My BF broke his leg and 5 ribs
jcgirl302, Feb 2020
On Thanksgiving day 2019, my boyfriend fractured his femur in his right leg and broke 5 ribs on what was supposed to be a "tubing" ride. That tubing ride turned out to be white water rafting. He was lucky. He nearly drowned. After the rafting accident we were unable to do any of the remaining activities that day and the 6 days we had left of our vacation were completely ruined. My boyfriend spent weeks in agonizing pain and had horrendous swelling in his leg. I sent several emails to the tour operator requesting a refund of our excursion cost. I never recieved any type of response. My boyfriend's medical bills when we returned to the U.S. were several thousands of dollars, he was out of work for 3 weeks, and he spent two months recovering from his injuries. If you are going to book an excursion, book it through your resort. Do not risk your vacation or your life.

We are very surprised by your statements, we have reviewed our report and we have not had clients with any serious damage resulting from this activity, we have only had people with scratches but it has been attended immediately. If at any time this happened, our company would take care of your situation since we have insurance. You should also know that this tour has risks as in all adventure tours, so you are well aware that accidents can happen at any time signing a Waiver. I am surprised that you say you have contacted us for a full refund? I wonder which email you have sent this request? We have not received any email about it. Do you mention and recommend other people not to book with us and do so through the hotel? We are a serious company that has our insurance and informative guides (certified by the government) and we also have evacuation and emergency policies for any event, your words are not very welcoming, since you are badly informing all tourists about us. I ask all tourists who can see this message NOT TO BE DECEIVED by this comment. We do not have any Gravity report of any ony ones and we believe that you have done this tour with another company .
