- You will board our dinghy at the beach and will be taken to Kuna, our 47' monohull sailboat.
- Depending on the wind and sea conditions, we will sail or motor to a cove for swimming & snorkeling.

Our meeting location is in front of Claudio and Gloria's Restaurant in Playas Del Coco. Look for a Kuna Vela team member wearing grey shirts with a Kuna Vela logo. We also meet at Playa Hermosa pending the days schedule. Please type your specific location upon booking a reservation to coordinate.

Beautiful sunset, cruise! The crew was wonderful and attentive. The snack trays were beautiful snorkeling was a lot of fun. I would definitely do it again.

We had a great sailing experience. The staff was attentive to our needs. The day was perfect, sun with enough wind to sail without the motor. They used the motor to get to the snorkeling spot. We did not snorkel but we did go a shore and explored the caves. Afterward, the motor was turned off as we sailed back to the sound of music and the view of the setting sun. I would do it again.

I highly recommend the sunset cruise. Andres, Joshua, and Israel were super kind and knowledgeable... And make an excellent rum punch. We saw whales and rays jumping out of the water! We explored a shallow cave and hung out on the beach. We had a great time! Also, what better way to end your day than watching the sun set. Beautiful!
Amazing tour

This tour was so amazing! We loved that it was a small group on the boat and the more intimate experience of sailing versus a catamaran. We enjoyed the sail out to snorkel and snorkeled in a beautiful area that you could swim ashore. We climbed to a lookout point, explored caves and even saw monkeys! The crew timed the sail back perfectly to sunset. I appreciated that the crew offered drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) throughout the excursion and excellent snacks for the way back! I highly recommend to anyone!

I had an incredibly beautiful afternoon sail, I can't recommend, Kuna Vela enough! The crew was wonderful and we really got to see some lovely spots in the Gulf, and also had the good fortune of seeing dolphins off the bow and lots of breaching rays. The sunset and a double rainbow were absolutely gorgeous.

Hanging out with friends watching the sunset. Fruit tray and sandwiches provided by on board yummy! You have the option of swimming on the beach or snorkeling, our group decided to swim on the beach. I recommend you grab some noodles - we did not but got lucky and was able to borrow some from another group.

We are happy you enjoyed the fresh fruit platter, corn chips served with guacamole & Bean dip as well as our tray passed sandwiches. Yes you are correct, once we find a nice cove you have the option to snorkel with our guide, float around the boat with noodles or enjoy the beach! When you choose the beach I do agree; grab a beverage and a noodle and enjoy those white sand beaches!!! We hope to see you back aboard Kuna Vela on yout next visit to Costa Rica!

This is a must do tour! The crew was so amazing and we had such a great time went to a private beach, saw A cave and lots of local animals !
