Overview

Set sail in the afternoon and take in views of the Costa Rican coastline on this tour. On board a comfortable catamaran, you’ll have the chance to spot local sea life such as whales, dolphins, turtles, rays, and seabirds. The tour also includes time to swim and snorkel or simply relax on the boat. On the sail back to Playas del Coco, you’ll catch sight of the sunset from the water.

We were 2 couples in our mid 50's-60. The catamaran was clean and well equipped. Food was great and the open bar a plus. The swim area was private and we had an amazing time floating in the ocean and walking on the isolated beach. The music was great and we finished qith dolphin sitings and a great sunset to the beat of happy music.

Can't say enough about how fun this trip was! Orlando and the rest of the crew were super accommodating and ensured everyone had a great time, we also met many great people on the boat! The snorkeling wasn't anything crazy but still extremely fun as someone who had never snorkeled before. The views all day and the sunset were absolutely gorgeous as well. Great trip and I definitely recommend.

If you wanna go snorkeling this is not the tour to take. We went snorkeling and there was not much to see at all. Was very disappointed. Tour over all was OK.

We had a great experience on this sail and snorkel. While the snorkeling wasn't the best due to the amount of rain received the few days prior, we had a great time. We took my 15 year old and 6 year old, and they enjoyed chasing crabs on the private beach. It was very relaxed the entire time, and the food was really good. We were even escorted by one of the crew on paddle baord as my 6 year old decided to swim to shore from the boat. Everyone took great care of us to ensure a lovely time!

We are so Impressed! The entire experience was flawless. We were able to be picked up at our hotel, brought to a boat that brings you to the catamaran. Onboard, we were taken care of by 4 really friendly, helpful, and professional men the entire time. They encouraged fun and safety and had the entire experience smooth sailing and amazing. We stopped a couple times to view sea turtles and dolphins. We even had dolphins swimming next to and in front of us for a long stretch of time! We went to a cove after cruising ocean waters for about an hour. At the cove, we were given snorkeling equipment and floatation devices. There was one employee watching from the boat, another on a stand up paddle board, and two others circling making sure everyone was accounted for at all times. Lunch was fantastic. They call it a light lunch but we were extremely satisfied. We had the best bbq chicken, rice, beans, fruit, chips, salsa, and cookies. We say this was our favorite meal in Costa Rica. On the way back it did rain; but we were fully covered by the inside of the boat that had plenty of room. All in all, wonderful experience. We were so impressed by the staff and how amazing of a job they did! 10/10! I wish we could do this again every day :)

DO NOT USE!!! Inefficient Customer Service and Rain Policy

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! They have inefficient procedures in place for rain. My party of four was dropped off at a bar(filled with individuals in light of the tremendous rainfall at the time) along with several other parties and instructed by the driver that a representative would greet us upon entry into the bar. An attendant greeted us shortly after entry to collect funds for our transportation. We were then instructed to await further instructions, as they were waiting out the rain. We awaited at the bar for over 45 minutes without further instructions. We then witnessed the other parties (outside of my party of four) that arrived with us leave on their own (four in a taxi and four by foot). No one ever came over and instructed us of next steps. Upon calling the contact number provided in the booking, we were instructed that the boat was gone due to the attendant stating that the entire group dropped off at the bar decided not to board the boat. I informed the contact that no one ever approached ANY of my party of four for a transfer to the boat or otherwise. I was instructed that there was nothing more they could do. They refunded us the funds paid for the transportation to the boat and instructed me to initiate a refund through the booking app used. I initiated the refund as requested, and was then informed by Viator that the relevant service provider states that I refused the service. Although I had several conversations (via phone and messaging within the app) that no further interaction was initiated with my party after collection of the funds. If they were not going to be efficient to ensure that they initiated contact with ALL relevant individuals, we should have never been dropped off to a crowded bar. They are now attempting to punish me thru not refunding me funds due to the inefficiencies of the service provider

This excursion set up by Viator went flawlessly. They arranged pick up at out hotel and once we arrived at our loading point we were tendered to the catamaran. The staff on the catamaran were friendly and kept the bar service running continually and the drinks were good. I happen to be a beer drinker and I wished that there was more of a variety on beer aboard but...... The two negatives were that the snorkeling was poor. No coral reef = no fish! And....there was no mention that if you went to the island beach that there were monkeys and coatimundi to be seen there. This should have been mentioned by the staff! The other slight negative was that the music on the catamaran was rap music! Yuk! And played loudly! I would think some more appropriate "Island Type" music would more fitting to the occasion. But the overall experience was fun and good. Watch for the fire ants just off the beach when you return to your ride home!

The customer service, food, drinks and accommodations were excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The boat was very clean , spacious and safe! I would definitely book again and I highly recommend.

Had great time. Wasn't crowded. Having about 20 people made the experience so much more enjoyable. Staff friendly. Food was really good. Barbecue chicken, rice beans and assortment of chips. Drinks flowed and were delicious. Nice snorkel spot at private beach. Not sure why but didn't put paddle boards in water. Sailing home was a nice touch as opposed to engine and the pictures of the sunset I took are unreal. Also loved we got to see dolphins!!

So fun!!! We had the chance to see 2 dolphins!! The staff was AMAZING! They would come pick up our cocktails when we were finished and would offer to bring us another one. They all seemed like they enjoy their job. Lunch was very good as well! The fresh fruit was my favourite!! I recommend to bring some ginger capsules like Gravol for example, if you get seasick. They help a lot and you’ll fully enjoy the activity!

This tour was beautiful and a wonderful way to spend the afternoon/evening! My friends and I really enjoyed cruising on the boat seeing the spectacular views, snorkeling, and exploring the small island. The crew served a great meal, drinks and we met some wonderful people on the boat as well. I wish we could have seen some whales or other animals, but we didn't get the chance to. Overall, would highly recommend!
