For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

From start to finish our guide was engaged, helpful and informative. Juan weaved in information about the local culture of Playa Del Carmen into the tour between stops providing the delicious food. Make sure you arrive hungry! The food at each location was tasty and was accompanied by an explanation and description of the dish. My group returned to several of the locations after the tour. I would absolutely recommend this tour and any of the other tours Juan offers.

Enrique took us off the tourist path to help us discover the playa that local foodies love. His insights into the cuisine and personal experiences as a local for more than 30 years really made our tour. And we can’t rave enough about the food. The mole….the tacos….the agua fresca….it was all amazing!

A must-do! We did this on our first night in Playa del Carmen and it was such a great way to get to experience places I probably wouldn't have chosen myself. However, I would've missed out on some really tasty, really authentic Mexican food. Abbey was our tour guide and she was excellent. She guided us around to these amazing restaurants and gave us some history and cultural points as we walked around. She was so friendly and informative. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. But if I can give you one tip, come on an empty stomach beacuse there is so much good food on this tour, you'd be twice the size finishing 😜

My daughter and I went on the tour with Enrique as our guide. He is very knowledgeable about all of Playa del Carmen, both past and present, and he loves food! We loved our trip so much that we took the rest of the family to try some pork tacos and cold fruit drinks!

Excellent tour! Our guide, Enrique was absolutely stellar. Very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and quite funny. All around excellent tour. The food stops that he took us to were personal favorites for him which added so much more to the experience. My wife and I truly enjoyed our experience.

This was a very memorable experience my husband and I took on our honeymoon. Our guide Paola was very knowledgeable and friendly. She brought us to 7 different places to eat and to several sites to view murals, street art, and statues. The whole tour lasted about 3 hours and was very pleasant. The food was delicious and even though we tried some things we didn't like we also tried food we would go back for over and over again. Overall it was a great tour and Paola and the other foodies made it feel like we were walking with friends. Would definitely recommend!

We received the most culturally amazing food tour. Every stop provided something delicious. Indy our tour guide was AMAZING!!! He knew so much about the area, helped us step out of our comfort zone trying new foods, and took great pictures. He even sang happy Birthday to me. This was a time my husband and I will never forget all thanks to Indy. I would also like to shoutout Enrique because I missed my tour with him but he made sure I got rescheduled and was still able to enjoy this tour. Excellent customer service!!!!

Indra (Indy) was a great guide, with fun stories, and enlightening facts about Playa Del Carmen. The food stops were great and pleasantly off the beaten track. So much food. It was hot - even though the drinks were plentiful at each stop, I recommend bringing a water bottle anyway.

We loved this tour! Alejandro was a great guide and taught us so much about the history of the city along with the culture and traditions. We were able to go to several family owned and local restaurants that represented a true taste of the city. I only wished we booked this at the beginning of our trip instead of the end! I would do this tour again and I highly recommend it!

Alex was a very easy going and friendly tour guide who showed us around to places that were more off the grid. He was personable, had a good sense of humour and made the effort to ensure we were comfortable. At times he didn’t speak much about exactly why we visited the food stands that we did, however most were great regardless.
