Our guide, Miguel was very knowledgeable and personable. With our early morning arrival, Chichen Itza was not at all crowded. We went to a lesser known cenote that was lovely and there was only a handful of other people besides our group. The restaurant, Paladar de cura, in Valladolid was delicious.

Great tour with Carlos to Chichen Itza followed by a swim in a Cenote and a delicious lunch in Valladolid. The drive there and back was long, but we had the most interesting conversations with Carlos who shared so much about ancient Mexican civilisations but also about the country's present and aspirations for the future. A thoroughly interesting day and hats off to Carlos for mastering the whole enterprise of driving and guiding flawlessly and cheerfully.

We had the most amazing day. A personalised tour worked so well for our family and Miguel was wonderful, engaging and patient with our three children! We arrived early and it wasn’t too busy so we got some lovely photos of just our family by the temples. Miguel was so knowledgeable and made the tour fascinating. It was also great to learn about the acoustics at Chichen Itza. The cenote was great fun and we could play for as long as we wanted. Lunch was also fantastic and Miguel rang ahead so it was all ready once we arrived which was great for hungry children (and adults!). I would really recommend this tour and Miguel as a guide.

What an incredible place to visit. We chose to go on a private tour of Chichen Itza and Irving was our tour guide. It was well worth it. He was amazing, knowledgeable and pleasure to have as a tour guide. He made the excursion MOST enjoyable. I would highly recommend doing the private tour and if you get Irving, he will make it a most memorable experience!

We had an awesome day with Isaac! He was very knowledgeable about Chichen Itza, the Mayan culture, and the region. After a nice, but very hot, visit to Chichen Itza, we were hungry and needed to cool off. Lunch in Valladolid and the refreshing swim at Cenote Oxman were perfect! We were able to taste authentic regional food at the restaurant and were waited on by warm and attentive staff. Afterwards, our family had a great time swinging by rope to take the plunge into the cenote. There are stairs that lead right into the water for the less adventurous. Overall, we had an incredible experience! We would highly recommend Isaac. He was very friendly and intuitive about our family’s needs.

What an amazing experience. Having a private tour meant we arrived as soon as they opened and before the crowds. This allowed us to get amazing shots of the temple and surrounding areas. The cenote was refreshing after walking around Chichen Itza. The restaurant the tour guide took us to was some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we stayed hydrated in the heat. I would highly recommend this tour.
