What To Expect

Make your way to Xplor Park, just outside of Playa del Carmen in the Riviera Maya. Your all-inclusive ticket will get you access to the park’s facilities throughout the day, as well as the chance to try all four of Xplor’s adventure options.

Get behind the wheel of an amphibious vehicle to drive above and below-ground trails, then paddle a raft through an underground river. Head to the treetops to try a 14-line zipline, hitting speeds of up to 19 miles per hour (30 kph) on your way through the course, ending the circuit with a splash and a water landing. Keep swimming through a series of caves, grottos, and sinkholes, floating just beneath a cavern roof that’s bristling with stalactites.

When you’re ready for a break, simply head to the onsite restaurant for a buffet lunch with unlimited smoothies and juice, the perfect fuel for an afternoon of active fun. Each activity takes roughly 45 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the park (or just relax in a hammock) before the day concludes.

As a preventive measure, before boarding the bus or accessing to the park, the temperature will be scanned through a digital remote device on every visitor, guest or staff member.
The minimum age recommended is 5 years. Children aged 5 to 11 pay half the adult ticket (must show ID at the ticket office)
Children over 55” m but under 12 years of age, must present identification to verify their age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring insect repellent free of the following chemicals to be use in the Park: Benzophenone, Etilhexila, Homosalate, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Octyl Ssalicylate, Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane
Bring cash for incredible souvenirs purchasing.
The park operates in all weather conditions, Please wear comfortable clothes and watershoes. It is recommended to bring a change of clothes.
Zipline requirements: Minimum height/weight is 4.5 feet (137 cm) or 88 lbs (40 kg); the maximum weight is 300 lbs (136 kg); maximum waist width is 51 inches (130 cm) and leg width 25 inches (65 cm)
You can get to the park by using the local transportation system "Colectivo" or by taxi.
Travellers should have a moderate physical fitness level
It is not possible to make the change of date the same day of your visit
In the event of having symptoms such as cough, sore throat, runny nose, and/or red eyes and a temperature exceeding 100.4 F (38 C), our staff reserves the right to refuse to board our transportation or to enter our facilities.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The park was very fun. You need to get there at a reasonable time to complete all the attractions. There was little to no wait for each attraction. Make sure you wear closed toe swim shoes and be prepared to work out a little bit. Overall this was a good experience.

This was our forth experience booked through Viator this vacation. The two where we had to rely on local tour companies to facilitate were a disaster which we have commented on previously but this trip to Xplor was fantastic. We have teenagers 19 and 17, zip lining and rough terrain driving is just perfect for that age, with only two down sides, we didn't get to do it all and us poor older parents were shattered afterwards. Great day, loved it.

Lots of fun! Would recommend water shoes but not necessary. We were able to do all the experiences in flip flops. Get there early to avoid long lines, however there are plenty shady areas. If your sunblock is not eco friendly, it will be taken away until you leave, but they will provide sunblock for you. Recommend a cell phone pouch so you don’t have to hang on to your phone on the zip line and protect it from the water activities. I kept mine safe in the lockers provided, but then I was not able to take pictures through the day so we ended up buying their photo package which was actually reasonable for the amount of pictures taken.

This is my second time at this park and it is amazing! Make sure you have on water shoes or comfortable running shoes, because you will be wet all day! The food at the buffet is pretty decent, international cuisine, but be mindful it is outside (although covered) so flies were buzzing around. The smoothie/drink bar is really good! My fave is the Zipline! Definitely will do again! I recommend doing the zipline part of the park as early as possible because the later the day goes on, the longer it takes to get on the ride (40+ minutes). You only get to do the four wheeler part of the tour once so have fun! Everything else you can do multiple times.

This a supper amazing place ! I think out xcaret and xelha this was my favorite one. All activities were included. No need to pay extra like the other two. It’s beautiful, clean, and organized. They have signs on what’s open and what there is a wait for .

The whole experience was great! So much fun, totally worth the $$ and I already want to go back!!! Be prepared to be soaked!! You can’t bring anything with you but waterproof phone case or camera but has to stay attached to your person. You’ll be completely under wanted from shoulders down at some points! I recommend every excursion we did!

Beware low staff high capacity ripoff

Got there with all inclusive plan , restaurant by 1230 was out of food , they had lightning storm but sent people ziplining down the wires as lightning was striking near the lines but did not care refused any refunds , they were at 30percent staff but oversold the tickets so out of 9 activities , 3 were closed and was taking 4 hrs to do one activity , they are all aboit the money and ripped me off then viator would not return calls or emails also regarding s refund , i paid for all inclusive tx with meal plan and recieved nothing but a monsoon with lightning bolts !!!!

Great place.....But beware!

Soo many ziplines are included, this place is a very large park. Think of it as a theme park. The ziplines are doubled so a very safe experience. The atv or offroad vehicles are almost in a track. There is a lot of supervision, and they don't want you to go very fast. The underground caves are a real bonus when you get to drive your ATV through them. I hate long lines, there are a few in the beginning unfortunately, but if you go early in the morning you may be able to avoid. If you hate crowds like a theme park this is not an excursion for you. I would also recommend you being in good shape, as the stairs and ramps at this place are pretty intense. Not recommended if you have limited mobility. Bum leg or trouble walking upstairs for 20-30 flights of stairs...no joke. I had the inclusive lunch...was not impressed with the buffet, some of my meat tasted old. Not much flavor or spices, very bland. Other than that its really an interesting park. I love the cave swimming in the very cool water.

Purchased via Viator app. What an amazing experience from start to finish. During Covid they had so many measures in place from temp checks to sanitizing stations to requiring masks in public spaces, it made for a very comfortable experience. Ziplining is incredible !! Swimming in the underwater caves was surreal, plenty of perfect photo ops and water was clear and cool to allow for a break from the Mexican sun. Driving the off road vehicle was surprisingly exciting, the course was much longer than anticipated and takes you underground, across bridges, and through tunnels as well as the jungle - a bumpy yet exhilarating ride !! Enjoyed the freshly made fruit drinks to refresh, and found the buffet to offer abundant/fresh choices. Overall it was thrilling and very highly recommended.
