Splendid Excursion
Tom_C, Jan 2023
Trent of Tassie Tours was our tour guide. He was very personable, very obliging and very knowledgeable. Trent escorted us with commentary on the various places we stopped at. Trent was happy to talk about side topics and answered all our questions. We were never rushed and the whole enjoyed the collective experiences. We did not have a deadline for returning and Trent was happy to run over time to ensure we had a good and full experience. Great excursion and well done Tassie Tours and Viator. Very competent guide and an interesting day.
Port Arthur Tour

Our driver was excellent and made our tour very informative. We enjoyed the opportunity to do a short sight seeing hike along with the stops for food and chocolate. The lavender farm was very interesting. Loved the whole tour.
Sad day

We did not get to do it .they changed the time on us. They offered a later one but would not work for us. I was dealing with a older lady in the group this time. Not sure if she ever got reimburse for it.
Good Tour

Our tour guide (Peter) was pleasant and interesting. We enjoyed the natural features - The lavender farm was mildly interesting - best part was the lavender milkshake. The chocolate factory was mildly interesting.

Great tour, nice small group and our guide, David, made the day lively and informative. Saw absolutely beautiful sights.
Five Stars for Tassie Tour

Tassie Tour was fantastic! Our guide David was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a sunny day with blue skies. Fabulous! Eaglehawk Neck, Tasman Arch, Devil’s Kitchen, the Doo-lishus food truck with the seafood brimming from the paper cone. Yummy. And they accept VISA credit card.
A Disappointment
GSLANZ47, Feb 2020
After visiting Hobart and going on a 6-8 self guided tour of the area, this tour in Point Arthur (60-70 miles away) was a disappointment. It consisted of a couple of nice stops overlooking the sea and coastline but unfortunately more time was spent on getting to those spots and stopping for fish & chips or chocolates along the way. Sitting on the bus waiting for others held up in food lines is not good. We've been on many Viator excursions and realize some are better than others, this just happened to be the worst.
Response from Host, Feb 2020
Hi, Im sorry but i don't think you travelled with our company. I have flagged this with Viator. The furthest we go from Port Arthur is 20 minutes (Pirates Bay lookout). The tour then starts making it's way back towards Port Arthur with stops along the way. In regards to food line this cannot be helped when there are cruise ships in port with 2-3000 passengers then taking into consideration the time of the year (peak season) people that are already travelling in Tasmania. But to be honest i haven't encountered this problem yet. I believe the 3 hour tour length is the perfect amount of time as it also allows plenty of time for you to enjoy the Port Arthur Historic site. Regards Patrick
