IMPORTANT PICK-UP INFORMATION: Tour pick-ups start up to 45 minutes prior to the tour start time. The pick-up time you will be given depends on the location of the hotel you are staying at. America's Hub World Tours will email you a ticket with your 15-minute pick-up window. At the beginning of the 15-minute pick-up window you will be emailed, please stand at the hotel lobby doors and look for a Sprinter van. Your Tour Guide will arrive within the 15-minute pick-up window listed.

What To Expect

Your full-day tour of Oregon’s northern coast starts with morning hotel pickup in downtown Portland. Be sure to grab your coffee and breakfast for the ride to Neahkahnie Point, an amazing spot to look for whales and where you can see miles of Oregon's coastline. Disembark in Manzanita where you can spend time on the beach or explore the quaint boutiques in their downtown.

Next, head to Short Sand Beach where you embark on a short walk through old-growth forest before arriving at a beautifully secluded sandy beach.

Then head into Cannon Beach for some antiquing and lunch (own expense) before continuing to Haystack Rock. Walk out to Haystack’s base (if the tide is out), explore tide pools and glimpse scurrying sea creatures.

Then enjoy some free time to walk along the beach, warm up with locally-roasted coffee, and peruse the town’s eclectic shops and art galleries. Your return trip stops at Camp 18, a historical logging museum that provides a window into Oregon’s timber industry. Arrive back at your Portland hotel in the evening.

There is a bit of hiking up and down to the beaches, so make sure to bring sturdy shoes and then some flip flops for the beach!

This tour is a must to get a true feel of Oregon.

Must visit Canon Beach with its fabulous food and shopping, and tucked-away Small Sand and Indian Beaches which remain in landscapes much like Lewis and Clark saw them!

Tour guide was great, but his driving was a little scary. There’s never any reason to take both hands off the wheel to gesture while simultaneously looking through the rear view mirror or turn directly to look at passengers while driving. We kept leaving our lane. At one point a semi driver honked at us for coming into his lane. Another time during the trip, we almost slammed into the back of the car ahead of us once. Other than that, the tour was beautiful and the driver was friendly and knowledgeable.

This company needs to do a better job in directions on this tour. We were from out of town, and not familiar with this city. NO parking directions are given ahead of time. Once we arrived, asked the driver where to park. His answer was " he did not know". So once we found parking, we were very late on arrival. We take the blame for arriving late. I use Viator when traveling and they have always provided parking recommendation, espically in large cities. WE did not go on the tour , so no recommendtions on the tour itself. Just be warned if you are not staying at one of the hotels that they pick up at.

We are sorry you had trouble finding parking. We direct the majority of guests who are not staying at a hotel that we pick up at to park in the parking garage next to the Hyatt Regency, then we pick them up at the Hyatt Regency.

Everything was great. The ride was comfortable, the weather was awesome, so we def got all the highlights. We caught Haystack Rock just after low tide, so we could see the tide pools and walk right up. Gunnar was full of good knowledge, we learned a lot! Def recommend.

This trip was amazing! Our tour guide John was the best and went above and beyond to show us all of the sights. He was very enthusiastic about everything and he was so informed! we just wish the stop for lunch and shopping was longer! being picked up right outside of our hotel was amazing and we felt so safe on the ride with the other passengers and John!
