This is a fantastic tour for those wishing to peruse the grounds of Prague Castle with a friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining tour guide.

We had headsets so it was very easy to listen to the guide who shared a lot of historical information a long with fun facts about the current city.

The tour was very rushed. It took us an hour to even get to the castle due to the guide stopping and telling us all about restaurants etc. When we got there he’d talk before we’d even get to where we could hear him ! I was rushing to hear and fell off a step and am extremely sore. The castle wasn’t the highlight of the tour. He told us not to take photos in the church where others were taking photos.He thought he was so funny but it was the worse tour of our trip. I wish we’d gotten the other guide !

Very informative tour of Prague Castle

Marika, our guide was great. Very informative, allowed time to answer questions and take photos. The meeting point was clear and guides easy to identify. Our guide was caring, and clear with instructions. She explained how the tour would progress, where to meet after free time and how to get back to the little town at the end. As it was a large group, it may have been easier on the guide's voice if we had had audio headsets.

My girlfriend, teenage son and I left this tour after 30 minutes. With 24 people it was impossible to hear the tour guide, and several of us tried to tell him that multiple times. He also made offensive religious jokes. I'm not religious but calling people schizophrenic was offensive. He also told the same jokes over and over again.

This was a 3 hr+ tour that should have been 2 hrs or less, but for the excessive jokes and losing 4 people who didn't get off the tram (and waiting for them to rejoin us). The guide was knowledgeable enough about history but missed the mark on St. Vitus cathedral's Christian history, art, etc. I didn't appreciate the loud banter and profanity in a current place of worship. Others might feel differently. We left the tour early.

Our guide, Peter, showed us the sights of Prague and the Prague Castle but also gave us great context and background. His experience as a history professor was perfect. Totally worth it. If you go in August, understand that it is packed in downtown Prague.
