Everything worked perfectly, the guide and his daughter were very friendly and super on time. The release of the turtles was a very special experience and it was nice to see that they cared a lot about the well being of the turtles. Would definitely recommend this!

Carlos our guide was so lovely, chilled and shared lots of knowledge along the journey. Releasing the turtles was so magical, you can tell they do amazing work there with the project. The beach was super remote and quiet. I defo recommend doing this! The highlight of our trip to Mexico!

It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. Watching the baby turtles walk out into the ocean was such a wholesome thing to see, they're so cute. We were taught a lot of interesting facts about the animals and you could sense that the people there really care about the turtles, it's not just another tourist attraction. 10/10 would recommend!

Sea turtles are my favorite animals. I have seen adults while snorkeling in St. John. This experience was fantastic. Highly recommend. We had plenty of time to release our turtles and make sure they got into the ocean safely. Sunset was gorgeous and it was an extra treat to see the stars. Great guides.

This was such a great experience! Luis picked me up at my hotel and took me to the beach to the turtle sanctuary. He was very knowledgeable about the history of how the turtles started to become protected in the area, how they are rescued, the process it takes the eggs to hatch, how they best survive, how to handle them, etc. I learned a ton! I got to release titles into the ocean that just hatched that very same day! They were adorable. We released them at sunset (it’s harder for the birds to see them at night so they have a better shot of survival after they hit the ocean. So beautiful seeing them at sunset and it’s truly one of the beach beaches for that. What a great decision! Ask for Luis!

Luis was an amazing tour guide! He picked us up at our location and along the way picked up a few more people and explained so much about some of the history of Puerto Escondido and how the turtle release program was developed . We also learned about the things that threaten the sea turtles from natural selection to people exploiting the turtles for monetary purposes. We were fortunate to release a number of turtles since we arrived to the sanctuary later in the evening. This was a very satisfying experience that won't be forgotten.
