Beautiful and unique but TOO CROWDED!!!

Too crowded for the size of the island. Not fun at all to be so many people on this tiny piece of land. Reduce the crowd by at least 50% ! However, the guide was awesome and the food was delicious!

Thank you for your review. Now during weeks of Christmas and New Years it can get very crowded. It all depends on the season, sometimes it almost empty and sometimes very crowded.

Bus all day... Take the catamaran from Sosua

11 hour day, of which 3 hours were the actual experience on the island. We were a middle stop along the route but we ended up spending over 3 hours getting there and back. Another 2 hours at random gift shops along the way. Would not do again. The island was beautiful but the journey was too tiring. Also they cram the bus full, very hot and no Covid precautions enforced at all.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to leave valuable feedback. In the description of the tour it is marked that we drive to Punta Rucia, which is quite a drive. That's why I sent a message the day before that it is a good idea to eat something before leaving. Regarding the bus I will talk to our partner for Paradise Island, normally they can fill it up to 70 %. If you come back again, we also do private tours to Paradise Island only with your friends and family.

Unfortunately it’s nothing like the description.. make sure to bring along your own drinks , booze and snacks . You only last 2hrs or so on the island. Then they bring you back through the mangroves with no time to site see. The snorkeling is right on the little island. If you have your own snorkel equipment better.

Hello, I am sorry to hear that the excursión did not meet up with your expectations. On the island fresh fruits and soft drinks are served, at the moment because of the covid restrictions no Alcohol is allowed. The reefs for the Snorkeling are located just by paradise island, it's one of the best spots for Snorkeling on the north coast. To get back to mainland we drive through the mangroves, there is no stop there. In Punta Rucia lunch is served.
