From hotel pick-up, to the tour in...

From hotel pick-up, to the tour in the forest and the return to hotel, this was a well organized and professional experience. Cindy from SinwaTour called our hotel the night before to confirm, everything was right on time and they were even able to be a little flexible with this to accommodate us and our guide Jesus was amazing. He has so much knowledge that I asked him if he is a biologist by training! He is not, but was able to answer every question and explain everything we saw...which included the Quetzal, 5 minutes into our hike! He modified the tour according to our interests, taking us higher into the Preserve than most go, until we were walking right in the clouds. Footing was a little difficult in many places once we left the most used pathways, but Jesus pointed out the awkward spots and slowed his pace to allow us to catch our breath. We were so glad to have taken a guide, we would have had a much lesser experience without one.
