Poor site. Avoid.

Bought the tickets but got no instruction on how to access.. wasted my money for nothing. Tried contacting, but no valuable help came. Could not take the tour.

Local Heritage & Architecture Tour with Uvamai Niche Tourism

The Viator description says "Meet your guide in the morning and climb aboard your private air-conditioned vehicle for your tour through Chennai", and "... hear informative commentary about ...". But the day before the tour (when it was too late to cancel & re-arrange) we heard that there is no guide. When I complained to the tour company they said the Inclusions section did not list a guide (but then nor did the Exclusions section) and the description is provided by Viator, not the tour company. I would have thought that an honest company would have got Viator to sort this out. So what do you get? You get a driver and car for the day, a suggested itinerary (which you can change) , and a PDF document with a paragraph on each site.No entry fees or lunch is included. The driver was fine, looked after us well, and helped where he could. Our only gripe is that we had to say about 6 times that we did not want to go to his friend's sari shop. This tour is not what we expected or wanted (and we cancelled another trip with this company as a result). But it may be fine for you. I would add that this is NOT a rip-off. It is a lot cheaper than the other full-service tours that we took, so you get what you pay for. But it is unaccceptable for the tour operator to let the incorrect description remain.
