Karen was our tour guide, and she did an amazing job. She was able to spot everything from a small red eyed tree frog to monkeys and sloths. We saw about 10+ different species! After our guided walk , we had time to lay out on the beautiful beaches in the park. It was a perfect day!

If you're reading this, you likely already know that Manuel Antonio National Park is a must do in CR. In my opinion, having a guide take you through the park is also a must. Our guide, Mop, was terrific. His ability to spot, identify, and provide information on all sorts of wildlife was outstanding. He was engaging and efficient, making the park experience fantastic. He even used our phones to take beautiful wildlife close ups. So glad we had him. Cautionary note: Ignore any official looking parking directors that tell you the parking lots are full at the entrance to the park. Just keep going until you arrive at the tour's private office and parking lot at the entrance.

Definitely worth it if you are visiting the park. We wouldn’t have seen any of the wildlife without the tour. Andrey was super knowledgeable and passionate.

Edwin was a wonderful tour guide. He sent clear details prior to our tour and made it easy to meet up and begin on time. He was very informative and found so many animals for us to enjoy. He also took pictures and video that he shared with us after the tour. If you visit Manuel Antonio, an early morning tour with Edwin is a must-do! Pura Vida!

This tour and our guide Edwin was AWESOME! We saw so much wildlife - including 4 sloths, lizards, frogs, birds, insects, monkeys. We even saw an up close view of a sloth coming down his tree to poop! Haha! Edwin was so fun and knowledgeable. We also learned a lot about the flora and fauna! Edwin had a scope that allowed us to see all the wildlife up close. And he took pictures of all we saw along the way and shared them with us all at the end of the tour! This was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica! It is a physically easy tour to do - slow paced walking on flat trails. Anyone can do it! Another great thing about Edwin was his communication prior to the tour. He emailed detailed explanations about directions to the park, parking, and entering the park. I shared some pics I took myself and some Edwin took. Don’t hesitate - book this tour! You won’t regret it!

We had a guided tour with Edwin who was exceptionally well prepared. He had a telescope - like the other guides - but he attached his iPhone to it so the group could all see the action. He also took photos and videos of what we saw and airdropped everything for us after the trip. He pointed out animals that we would have never spotted otherwise and he shared super interesting facts. I didn't know that the guided tour ends halfway through the park, but luckily, around the beach areas the monkeys and iguanas are running free and it's impossible to not spot them. We learnt a lot and had a great time!

Great opportunity to walk through the park with a guide. Carlos was amazing with the kids and had a great eye for spotting animals. We really enjoyed ending at the beach.

Fantastic guide! Saul Guzman was outstanding & extremely knowledgeable about the plants & animals in the park. He spotted monkeys, frogs, insects, sloth & more, and taught us so much about the park’s biodiversity. His passion for the park was so infectious! He helped us photograph the animals through his scope with our cell phones — and they looked incredible. His suggestion to spend the afternoon on the beach was perfect. We even saw more monkeys while there. So polite , so professional, so friendly. Definitely recommend getting a private tour. So much more access to viewing the wildlife. Truly an amazing experience!

So glad we did this guided tour! Edwin was a wealth of information and spotted so many animals for us that we never would have seen. We even saw 3 sloths! Manuel Antonio is a beautiful park, but without a guide we wouldn't have fully appreciated our trip. Highly recommend this tour and especially Edwin!

We had a great day at Manuel Antonio NP. Starting with the instructions that Edwin provided we were able to navigate the road plagued with locals trying to steer you into the wrong private parking lot for a few. We bought tickets online in advance as Edwin suggested. During our 3 hour walk we saw a mom and baby sloth, plus another sloth and many howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, various birds, bats, lizards and crabs. After the tour we hit Manuel Antonio beach. The water was warm and there were enough waves to do some beginners body surfing. All in all a great day. They say you cannot bring food into the park because people use to feed the wildlife With snacks (potato chips, nuts, etc). We figured it would be ok to bring a Nutella sandwich each for lunch but a crafty raccoon got into our backpack which was right next to my son and had a great lunch instead. If you do bring ANY food you need to bury it deep in your bag and keep it closed and guard it at all times!
