Great Tour! Juan was an amazing Guide, we learned so much. Even though we weren't sure what to expect, it was so interesting. He had great knowledge about many different things and told us not only about coffee and chocolate, but also about culture, hostory, animals, plants and much more. Would definetly recommend.
A Must Do Tour! Fun and Infirmative.

This is a must do tour! It was fun, informative, and wonderful to walk along the farm and taste the different chocolate samples, coffee, and sugarcane drinks. Guide Juan was excellent at explaining the process and making the samples. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in a comfortable air conditioned van by Brian, super nice and great driver. Muchas gracias Brian and Juan!

I had this tour on...
, Dec. 2021
I had this tour on November 27th with my husband. Juan was our tour guide . Pick was included and we had pick up right on time. It took us like 20 minutes to reach the farm from manuel antonio beach. Juan was very knowledgeable about all the plants in farm and gave us overload of information about cacao and coffee. He also showed us the whole process to make xocoatl (original word for chocolate) right from the bean to final drink. He also made us agua de sapo in front of us. I loved the whole experience, learned a lot and had some fun drinks as well. I would definitely recommend this .
Fun, educational experience!

A Great Experience
, Jun. 2021
This was way more than a chocolate and coffee tour. Juan was beyond amazing. He definitely put his biology degree to good use, and his passion for teaching & educating us about the plants, animals, and history of Costa Rica was very apparent. The chocolate and coffee was great as well. Also, thanks to Grace and Iban for making the entire time fun and enjoyable. This was a fantastic experience at a great value, and I would recommend to anyone.

Interesting and delicious!

The guide, Andreas, was a wealth of knowledge and very friendly and interesting. We also loved the tour of the indigenous plants and the cacao fruit. Seeing the actual coffee trees and cacao trees and then how they are process. Then we got to taste the chocolate and make her own with different spices. It was delicious and very informative. I would definitely recommend this tour
Brian is your guy, don’t miss this tour!

Awesome tour with an awesome guide, Brian. He was super nice, well prepared for the tour - it is undisputable he loves what he does - and the garden was a hidden gem in the forest. Orange mint chocolate and french press coffee are must tries!

Chocolate and Coffee Tour - Manual Antonio
, Dec. 2019
This tour was so interesting and Gerry was a fantastic guide. So knowledgeable about chocolate! What was good about it was that it was interactive and we could actually choose flavorings for chocolate and sample them. Fascinating ! Both Gerry and Bryon was charming and friendly. Recommend this tour.

Brian is an extremely knowledgable guide, professional and friendly. He explained the whole process of growing cocoa and making chocolate and we got to taste it. Also info on sugar cane, oxen and Costa Rica itself. Well worth the money and highly interesting.
