Great kayaking experience

Had a great time with my two kids, aged 11 and 13. The guide was extremely helpful and very nice (patient) whilst we learned to navigate through the mangrove - none of us had done kayaking before. The equipment was good and the organisers very efficient from start to finish. The meal at the end was a surprise (in the heart of town) and very delicious. They also picked up & dropped off at the hotel, which was super convenient. We got to see monkeys up close too, which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend!

We felt so privileged to watch the monkeys playing with each other. I was particularly transfixed as one tiny monkey played with half a coconut shell in the water. Roberto our guide was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure our safety and enjoyment was paramount at all times. He was a gentleman.

Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and showed us several animals in the mangroves that just blended in with the trees. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing Kayak tour.

El Gordo was fantastic! Who is a wealth of knowledge, great sense of humor, trust, rush, to get through hard stuff with our tandem kayaks, and we met the challenge. Look for an anteater, but didn’t find him and he was disappointed as Marie, but the whole trip was super enjoyable and relaxing. We were in the shade most of the time sometimes in the sun produce a very worthwhile trip. Our meal afterward was satisfying with some arroz con huevos and some plantains that were delicious. to make a point that Esteban was elite.

This was a nice little excursion although going later in the day (330 pm) means the flies are out and in your face, so remember the bug spray.

Neat Family Experience in the Mangroves!

Our large family of 13, with ages ranging from 18-78 years of age, loved this excursion! We learned so much about the Mangroves and their ecosystem. It was peaceful and enjoyable! The lunch was great in Quepos; the tour guides Danny & Lisandro were very helpful and knowledgeable; and, Chiky the driver was great as well! Thank you, Jade Tours, for a fun day!

Our group enjoyed the kayaking. Roy was knowledgeable and provided history on the area. We saw many animals: monkeys, bats, lizards and an iguana. The kayaking was easy except for the end when you go against the current. The dinner was a bonus and very good. We had a good time.

The mangrove area is truly beautiful and we saw a ton of birds. Fabio was an excellent tour guide. It was a lot of fun to talk to him about different birds around the country. We even saw a couple of more rare bird species. The pace of kayaking was relaxed, just enough to get a little exercise, but not enough to leave you tired the next day.
