Ginga Tropical Show with Transportation and Optional Barbecue Dinner

I felt this dinner/show was wall to wall FANTASTIC!!!! Starting with our guide Louis. Im not really sure why it is called a bar b q dinner considering it is sooooo much MORE. Calling the delicious meal a bbq dinner really does not do it justice makes it sounds sticky and cheap. THE MEAL OFFERED WAS FANTASTIC!!!! And DELICIOUS AND THERE WAS NO BBQ. There was so much good food it was almost overwhelming. The restaurant where the meal was offered and served was spectacular .... like formal dinning . There was every type of meat ... ( beef, pork, chicken, prime rib, lamb) brought fresh to your table . There were many exotic dishes, salads, fruits, vegetables, comfort food, deserts and it was all you can eat. After that there was a live BRAZILIAN DANCE SHOW THAT WAS MORE THAN FABULOUS!!! The costumes, the dancing, the singing, the music, it was one of the best live shows ive ever seen. The only bad thing i have to say about it is that for some reason we were not allowed to take pictures of the show and i was pulled on stage and it would hv been nice to have a picture memory of that as well as the other parts of the show. This Dinner / Show IS A MUST SEE. We saw it on day 2 in RIO AND IT WAS GREAT Welcome TO RIO!!!

Great show! The dance troup was terrific and very entertaining. They even teach you how to dance the samba. We were dancing by the time we left the show. I’d go again and again! P.s. Be sure to include dinner with the show.

Dinner was good, not great! Show was high energy. Samba lesson was a lot of fun! Too bad you couldn’t take photos.

Loved the show. Wish we could have taken photos (at least after the show) or videos. I understand the copyright issue. I think photos and videos could help you market your show, so maybe after the performances, photos can be taken with the performers. Just a thought.

Excellent way to get introduced to the local Brazilian culture. You’ll be on your feet with the great local rhythm and songs of this show. Well worth it! Take the dinner option for the BBQ steakhouse which features local cuisine.

Good guide. Food excellent, strong carnie yet veggies too. Show very entertaining and athletic. Good audience participation. As usual lots of time for pick up and drop off. You could easily take a taxi to do further nightlife after show.

The dancers are fantastic, especially the males who provide excellent entertainment with their acrobatics, gymnastics, and the best routine with their marital arts skills. The ladies were also phenomenal and the costumes were artistic and fun. the venue was very small, old, and so the crowd was very small so performers don't get the applause and appreciation they deserve. this show needs to be in Vegas. The venue immediately distracts from the quality ther dancers provide. Some of the choreography was also a little immature. We Did appreciate the bus pickup and dropoff service. Overall, entertaining though.

Your trip to Rio won't be complete without the Ginga Tropical Show. It is absolutely fabulous! You'll want to get up and dance all night long! And you will get a chance to learn some moves and also hop on stage at the end of the show, so go for it, join in the fun, it's totally worth it. It is authentic Brazilian music and dance in its full bloom. There is absolutely nothing I didn't like about it. The theather is small, but it is best that way, so you can look at the performers up close vs. a big stage. The dinner is amazing. You'll be fed and treated like royalty. When I go back to Rio, I'll definitely book this tour again.

Organistion was ok, diner so-so , but the show was low level. You should find more quality and I'm sure you could do it in Rio

Great show. Performers were excellent and got the audience involved, the costumes were out of this world. would definitely tell friends about this show.
