Following pickup from your hotel in Rio, board a comfortable vehicle for the trip to one of the city's famous stadiums. Each stadium can hold over 100,000 screaming fans and have hosted many important matches over the years, including the legendary Pele's last game and the 1950 World Cup.
During the months of May through December, twenty teams compete to win the Brazilian Championship, which determines the best team in the country. Rio's Cup and Guanabara's Cup, Rio's series that make up the city's Championship, are played each year between January and May. The winner of each cup will face off in the final games to become Rio de Janeiro' championship team. Both of these championship series mean that exciting games are on year round.
All general admission seating is partially protected from the sun, and you will be accompanied by your knowledgeable guide at all times. See the Itinerary section below for the game schedule.
