Well worth the money

This was my wife’s dream to hold a sloth. Not only did she get to hold one (she was crying joy tears) but we had an amazing guide, Issac, who was very knowledgeable about the animals. I highly recommend this tour wether on a cruise or just staying on the island as we were. Very accessible and friendly staff.
Roatan Henry Tours-horrible experience

The Monkey and Sloth Hangout was enjoyable, but after that, the whole excursion fell apart. We were supposed to be taken on a tour of Roatan. Instead of taking us on the tour, the driver left us there while he took some of the people who wanted to return to the ship back to the port. We were stranded there for over 1 1/2 hours while they tried to get a driver to take us on the tour. We had to keep asking them what was going on and they kept putting us off. They should have taken us on the tour before accommodating the people who wanted to return to the ship. Finally another driver showed up but he had no idea what was going on. We were now worried about getting back to the ship in time and said we'd take a short tour, but the driver ended up making a long phone call to his boss because he apparently had other tours to do and did not want to commit to taking care of us. We finally gave up and told him to just bring us back to the ship. We ended up with half of the excursion we paid for, and a lot of frustration and stress.

Very awesome to hold the sloth and have monkeys jumping on us. Some family members could watch without going in the cage. It was raining and more pavement could have made it less muddy. We had a different driver on the way back so don’t leave items in the transportation van.

5 stars just for holding a sloth!!! Part 1 - the hang out with monkey and sloth. The monkeys are hilarious and little pickpockets! I loved hugging the Sloth “Flash”. The guide, Michelle, was very interesting and informative. She explained about the plant life, the animals and their habits. The animal interactions were safe and well done. Mario and Johnathan gave us plenty of time with the sloth. Part 2: our Driver Derrick was very kind- we had our own private guide for the day. He was willing to go anywhere on the island. I wish I had planned better to know where I wanted to go. He took us to a couple of beaches, a place for lunch and he told us about life on the island as he toured around the area. We could have done a rum tasting, chocolate factory, and zipline for extra charges, but we chose to go to a local restaurant instead. Note : there is a bit of chaos getting to the tour point, but look for your tour signs and the tour company does watch out for you and gets you to the right place.

Our guide was Harley Rich. He knows a lot about the island. We had a good time despite the rain. We enjoyed the Sloths and Monkey's.

I have tried to hold a sloth 3 other times and it never materialized. I got to hold one this time and was so excited. It was great to be able to see monkey's lawyer's parrot's up close go in the cages with them it was great

Mr. Whitney, Samir, Jerry, and Mario were all excellent! Whitney took us around to several hot spots in Honduras so that we could see some of the culture. Samir was our guide at the Monkey & Sloth hangout. I’m so impressed with his knowledge and he’s an excellent storyteller. He made sure we all had fun and stayed safe while handling the animals. Highly recommend this and ask for Samir as your guide!

Getting to hold the macaws, monkeys, and sloths was great! We had a wonderful time. Haven't laughed so hard for a long time . The monkeys were entertaining.

We had a blast! Craig was our tour guide. He picked us up at the cruise port in Mahogany Bay Roatan Honduras. Pick up was just outside the port. There is a large hill to climb but for $2 a person a driver will take you up the hill to meet your guide. Creg was awesome! He took us to see the Sloths and Monkeys. Very informative and exciting. The Monkeys are not shy and my kids loved playing with them and the sloths were very sweet. Very inviting environment. Creg took us to a local eatery where we tried Iguana. It was delicious. They had zip lines that looked fun. We visited the Chocolate Factory where we learned how it's made and tasted some as well. He also stopped to get our family some fruit that is native to Honduras that was very interesting looking and tasted very sweet. It was a personalized experience that you don't get with big tours. My parents were also with us and enjoyed themselves as well.

Privat Chauffeur and Special Moment with animals

Derrick was our Driver, he was very Kind, funny and taken care of us All Time. I give one star less, because we drove to an other sloth and monkey spot as annouced and it was Like a private chauffeur instead of a Sightseeing-Tour.

To get the time to literally hang out with the monkeys and hold the sloth was sooooo amazing. Our tour guide was friendly and we shared the van with just one other family so that was great.
A complete waste of time

We looked forward to this excursion having booked it months in advance to accompany our cruise. We reserved a van to accommodate our group of 10 family members and we confirmed every detail of the excursion BEFORE arriving at that port of call (Roatan). Upon arrival in Roatan, we found our way to the pick up location with some help from people inside the port. We arrived early and had a short wait before Craig assigned us a driver. Although we paid for the ENTIRE 10 seat van in advance, 2 additional riders were added to our van. Then without much communication, the driver chose to take us on a “tour” that lasted almost 1.5 hours. The driver narrated the 1st 10-15 min of the ride before it turned into nothing more than a glorified taxi ride. Little did we know that the highlight of the excursion, the monkeys and Sloths were only a 4-5 min WALK from the cruise port!!! A few people in my family were severely motion sick after the extended winding ride to nowhere. We spent, what amounted to, about 30min at the animal park. We felt cheated!!! Had we know that the animals were RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from the port we would have just walked over there and saved a ton of time and money. Though the driver was nice enough, I would not recommend Henry Tours to anyone. We didn’t get what we paid for.

Holding the monkeys and sloths. The only problem was that it was very hard to find the guides for the tour. They needed to have a sign saying something about monkeys and sloths. Also would have been good if Viatours had told us it was outside the gated atea

Such an amazing experience. Something I get to cross off my bucket list. The guide met us at the entrance and was very informative. The sloths were soooo cute. The monkeys were hilarious and so interactive. We had such a great time. Definitely something we would do again if we get the opportunity to visit Honduras in the future.

Preston a great guide all the way through. Her was very knowledgeable and informative, easy to understand and a great conversationalist. We were never rushed and got to spend a lot of time with the sloths, monkeys and other animals. This was truly the highlight of our trip. I would recommend this excursion to everyone.
