Spring Break Excursions
Jackie_S, Mar 2023
My kids LOVED the zip line and animals. The scenery was beautiful and the staff was super nice! The only reason for 4 stars was that it felt a little rushed, but it was spring break and they overbooked themselves. I'm not sure how a regular week works as this was our first cruise and excursion.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hi hope all is well am really sorry u felt a bit rush we always let everyone take their time and move at their own pace hope we can have you gain with us again in the near future
Fun Experience but VERY Disorganized
Abigail_W, Mar 2023
While the experiences themselves were super fun, the organization was absolute chaos. When we arrived the zip line company said they had overbooked and that we would have to wait 2 hours before getting on the zip lines. Eventually we were redirected to the animal sanctuary, which was lots of fun. We were able to hold Guinea pigs, birds, monkeys, and a sloth! We were finally able to go on the zip line which was awesome, with friendly employees and thrilling runs of multiple lines. Our group did get separated in the process though, and the bus left behind a family on our way to the snorkeling beach. By this point we were all a little panicked that we wouldn’t get back to the cruise ship in time. The snorkeling felt rushed but it was still fun to see all the colorful fish! We ended up getting back to the port just in time, but I was incredibly stressed the whole time.
Response from Host, Mar 2023

Awesome!
Rhonda_I, Mar 2023
I experienced zip-lining for the first time. It was amazing. After that, I hugged a sloth. What an amazing excursion.
Definitely highlight of our vacation!
Amanda_E, Feb 2023
This tour was amazing and the guides made it even better! Seriously being able to experience top places in Roatan. Only negative was not anticipating tipping driver, snorkel guides, ziplining guides, sanctuary guides. Knowing we were going to be handed off to everyone and not having one person to handle everything would have been nice to know ahead of time. Overall it was the highlight of our cruise’
A disappointing, chaotic day with the odd bright spot
Heather_G, Jan 2023
Pros: The zip line was really fun and crazy. Not super long runs, but LOTS of runs and let's be real: Jumping off the platform is the adrenaline rush, so you get a ton of that. The snorkeling we were taken to was very calm and had great visibility and lots of fish. We could have spent a lot longer there, but... see below. Cons: -The sloth encounter was pretty weak. Only one sloth and you couldn't hold him, but you can pet him and feed him. We did this rather than a cruise excursion specifically to have a sloth encounter, so it was a bummer that it was not as much a hang-out as a drive-by. -We were taken to a different snorkel location than other customers that day. Instead of a private resort with a guide and the expected amenities, we were dropped off at a public beach with no bathrooms, changing area, or lockers for our bag. We had to take turns snorkeling because we had money and shoes and all kinds of things in our bag that we couldn't have walk off, and we only had an hour there. -The reason we know we went to a different snorkel location is because when the driver picked us up at the public beach to take us back to the ship (it was lunch time by now and were getting hungry), he said he needed to take a detour to pick up another group to take them to the snorkel area. Cool, no problem! We get to see more of Roatan! Suddenly we're at this nice resort instead of the beach we went to and realized we'd gotten the shaft a bit on our snorkel excursion. And once those customers got out, the driver comes back and asks us to wait in the lobby of the resort because now he needs to go pick up another group doing horseback riding to bring them to this snorkel location. By now, we're feeling pretty jilted about the snorkel location and getting hangry. But what can we do? So we hang out at this resort lobby, wet from snorkeling and now getting cold. Finally, after 30 minutes, he shows back up with this group and races us back to the port. I know he was doing his best and stretched thin trying to shuttle people all over the island, but it was very disorganized and they clearly took on more tours than they could handle that day. It was disappointing and chaotic and at times unnerving to just be left random places. We really were okay to just roll with a lot of it, but the cumulative effect was not ideal and while I could recommend individual aspects of this excursion, I cannot recommend Viator or the local company our excursion was farmed out to.
Lots of fun!
Daymon_L, Jan 2023
Everything was great. The company's employees were wonderful. They made it fun. It was also a great deal!
Had to cancel do to horrible winds and rain
Jeff_B, Dec 2022
Attempts to reach operator were ignored after weather turned out to be horrible. Customer service extremely lacking.
Great experience!
jcrewfive, Nov 2022
What can you say about ziplining through the jungle in Honduras? This was a great experience. None of us had ziplined before and had the best time. The team that took us through the system were great. They were funny, loved to show off their tricks, but most importantly, cared for our safety. They caught us, lifted us up and ensured we all had fun. Would highly recommend doing this tour to anyone looking for a great time!
Fabulous island adventure day!
Meghan_B, Sept 2022
What an amazing day! The animals were wonderful and our kids (teens) enjoyed that interaction so much. The local lunch we had was delicious! Ziplining was an adventure and our entire family really had a great time. We finished the day snorkeling from a beautiful beach and saw hundreds of fish. Excellent guide and a superb family day in a memorable place! It was easy to meet our guide from the ship's port and he made sure we were back in plenty of time.

Terrific Day of Animal Encounters & Snorkeling
Deborah_H, Aug 2022
We had 6 in our family (two seniors, two adults & two kids 8 & 13). The exotic zoo was the start of our day; we also went on a fabulous snorkeling trip. As a scuba diver, I admit I had never seen any coral reef in such great shape. The colors & types of coral were astounding. The tropical fish were abundant and everyone had a great time. The tour guide took us to the Chocolate Factory, too, and also to a couple of other sites. We had a wonderful time.
Zipline, Sloth, Snorkel Incredible Day
Michael_J, Aug 2022
Alan was a great your guide and took care of us and kept us safe. First in Honduras we went to the zip line where we met Michael, Batman and Spiderman. They got all 12 us buckled into our harnesses and loaded us onto the back of a truck for a wild ride up the mountain, that was the beginning of the fun. On the first platform, Michael told us it was only his second day on the job then proceeded to dive head first into thin air with a flip in the middle before zipping down the first line. We could tell this was going to be fun! It was easy to tell that these guys love their job. They rotated between getting us all safely down each line while throwing in tricks and encouraging us all to try new ways of flying through the air. Our group ranged in age from 4 to 72 and we were all smiling and laughing all the way. Next we went to a zoo where we're got to hold a sloth. Such a great honor. Last we went snorkeling from a boat with an experienced snorkeler guide Best day ever!
Amazing excursion
Tamika_P, July 2022
Our tour guides were absolutely amazing. Although I had done zip-lining before, a few of my family members had not and were terrified of heights. The guides continuously made sure we were safe….so much so everyone was turning upside-down and doing flips on the zip line before we got to the end. The trip to see the monkeys and sloths was fun as well. We were able to hold them and really enjoyed playing with them. It was overall a fantastic trip that we would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Awesome Excursion! We would do it all over again :-D
Tim_F, June 2022
This was a great choice for us! Family of 7 took this excursion from the Liberty of the Seas cruise...all want to do the same again! FYI: The zipline and animals are the same location -- Jungle Top Zipline, and the snorkeling is out of the Bananarama Beach Resort. If you are cruising, make sure you are clear as to local time vs ship time -- the tours are booked based on Honduras time. Our outstanding guide, Alan, met us just outside to port gate. Even though our tour time was 10:00 am Roatan time, we checked in an hour early to be safe and Alan was already waiting for us. We planned to shop for an hour first, then start the tour...but were happy to begin earlier. We took a short walk to Jungle Top Zipline, secured our backpacks and towels in Alan's van, then started with the animals. Everyone loved interacting with the sloth and monkeys :-D Everyone enjoyed the 16 ziplines and would do the entire course again. Note that some of our family were nervous about the ziplines. All nerves disappeared by the 2nd zip. The courses are not fast and the guides are extremely safety-focused while also entertaining. The total time ziplining was about 90 fun-filled minutes. They will take photos as you zipline and purchase is purely optional. We all took many of our own pics and videos while we ziplined...but we also chose to buy the photos they took. Next, Alan drove us about 20 minutes in air conditioned comfort to the very nice Bananarama Beach Resort for the snorkeling. We waited 35 minutes for the boat to pick us up. Full disclosure...we were told the boat would arrive in about 10-15 minutes, but the time went fast. We bought snacks and relaxed in the water until the boat arrived. If it had been longer than 35 minutes, we would not have been as happy. The boat is small but just right for snorkeling. The weather was perfect and the water was calm, warm and crystal clear. There were so many fish and beautiful reefs. None of us wanted to get out :) The 2-man crew offered to let us snorkel as long as we wanted. We chose our time to leave, returning to the beach about an hour later, and then waited for Alan back at the beach resort. We still had almost an hour to shop after we returned to the port. Read and follow the directions they provide and you will have no problem finding your guide. You will see MANY vendors trying to get your attention -- just tell them you are with Anderson Tours and they will be very helpful directing you.
Great Day In Roatan
Lisa_S, June 2022
We had Corvin as a guide and he was really good. He gave us a tour of the island and was very knowledgeable and friendly. The zip lining and the monkey/sloth interaction was great. We ended the tour with a snorkeling trip on the west end and the coral was Amazing. There was enough time to make additional stops along the way. Would definitely recommend the tour AND the Guide Corvin.
Amazing Guide
Madison_W, May 2022
absolutely loved our guide Shanda Forbes. She was always keeping the conversation going, making us laugh, and overall a good guide. She was attentive to us and we never had to look for her after each activity because she came and found us. We loved getting to know her and about her family. She really loves the island and the company.
Best Excursion Ever!!
Misty_G, May 2022
It was our favorite excursion from our cruise! The snorkeling was amazing and we saw so many fish. We had the best time zip lining staff. Make sure to ask for Preston and Anthony, they were so personal and fun! The whole excursion is worth the price!
Fun day!
Brian_R, Apr 2022
The snorkeling was amazing, zipline was perfect for my kids, and the beach we ended up at was fun! The zipline was in the trees and there were no rules which my kids loved.
Absolute best excursion in Roatan!!
Carolyn_W, Apr 2022
Do not hesitate to book this tour! The zip lining was so much fun and the guides made it exciting for everyone. It also lasted a long time compared to other zip lines I’ve done. The sloth sanctuary wasn’t necessarily a sanctuary, but it was incredible to hold them! The beach you go to for snorkeling was paradise and they let you spend the day there. Our driver also took us by a chocolate and rum factory before dropping off. It was our favorite excursion of the cruise (and the cheapest) but make sure to bring extra money for tips. You won’t regret booking this!
Terrific zip line course,...

Fantastic!

Fantastic day of zip lining, sloth/monkey/Guinea pig/etc…, snorkeling and rum tasting. Highly recommended!!
