Driver was great but tour came up short

The driver was great for your tour however when we got to the zipline there was something up with our reservation which took 10 or 15 minutes to work out. What we learned was that this was a "new" zipline vendor and they only had 5 ziplines with a shorter wait compared to the 23 platforms that were advertised in the tour and did not have a rope bridge as mentioned at the time. While we liked the tour it was not what was expected from the tour description and left our kids disappointed in the ziplining portion of the tour..
BEWARE - long, hot and not well organized.

While the guide was nice, he was overwhelmed as were all the workers there. The animals were tired and exhausted and were miserable being passed from person to person - thousands of times. When we got there - we were told we wouldn't be able to do the zipline - the whole reason we were there. We did the animals first. Walked up a very steep incline/stairs -only to see butterflies. While pretty, weren't worth the trek up there. Then we got in the massive line to see/hold the animals. I did hold a bird but the monkey and the macaw - we were told they were tired of being held (rightfully so!). I skipped the sloth because by this time, I felt nothing but pity for these animals (I am not a crazy PETA person- but I do have compassion). After that, we waited in line for about a half hour to load an open bed truck and took it up to a VERY STEEP section to the top of the ziplines. There we waited 2 HOURS to be next. It was disorganized, and people were cutting in line and there was no order. I will say the guys working were working VERY HARD - but they way overbooked this excursion and there was no way that anyone enjoyed that experience. Beware - there were 20,000 cruisers on the island that day and there was no regulation by anyone to monitor how many tickets were sold for this excursion.

Such a fun excursion. Loved the zip lines but highlight was holding the sloth. Everyone was helpful and mice. A little chaotic, but seemed lie an organized chaos. Awesome deal for the price. I would recommend!!

I have used Viator before and was extremely dissapointed in this one. First there was confussion as where to meet bus whish wasn't a bus but taxi. We ahd to pay a taxi to get to taxi..What is that? The zipline for 2 of us was good but the 2 that did not zip line were not told they could do zoo while waiting. The zoo was a joke! Then there was another confusion as to who was taking us to beach. Get to beach and told we had to pay another $20 to get a chair. Went done some alley to beach and there was no were to sit, very crowded. So we called taxi back and went back to cruise ship. What an expensive day for 2 people to zipline!

The zip line tour was awesome with our guides demonstrating many tricks and led by the very capable team leader Marvin. Afterwards we traveled across the island to beautiful West Bay Beach for an afternoon in the surf.

This was our first family cruise and onshore excursion. The guides were amazing! Really patient, fun and personable. Would highly recommend this excursion and would do this one again.

Our tour guide/driver was very friendly and kind. He drove us several places around the island and asked us where we'd like to stop (shops, attractions, activities). The ziplines were a lot of fun. There were a variety of zipline lengths, but they were all fun and exciting. The staff did some tricks on the ziplines such as flips, going upside down, or spinning. They were courteous, friendly, and helpful. They even retrieved my hat that fell off as I went down the zipline. The area with the animals was better than I expected. I got to see spider monkeys, a kinkajou, coatis, and guinea pigs. I was able to hold capuchin monkeys, parrots, a macaw, and a sloth. They also had a butterfly house. Our guide/driver took us to the beach and he waited for us as we enjoyed the beautiful beach, swam, and saw some fish in the water.

The meet off the boast was easy and we then were walked to the zipline tour, staff were excellent and this trip made my sons holiday. I do think some of the padding on the edges of the platforms could do with being replaced not that the staff let you bump into any of them !! We then went to see the monkeys, I am not keen on caged zoo like environments and was worried that the animals would look mistreated, I was wrong the guide that showed us round was knowledgeable and really new the animal/birds he looked after. All the animals we saw looked happy and healthy, we then had a driver take us round the island to a beautiful beach and wait while we had a drink and walk then dropped us back to the cruise boat. The whole time it was just my family in the group so felt like a personal tour, just great.

Kevin G was our driver/tour guide. Kevin was professional, informative and fun. The Zip Line and Monkey tour are amazing!!!!! we elected no to go to the beach after Zip Line. Kevin drove us to several shopping areas and a few places to take a some amazing pictures. The three of us had a FANTASTIC time, Thank You Kevin G and Henry Tours.

This was by far one of the best excursions I have ever done! Our driver was waiting for us is soon as we exited the port. Everyone was so kind and courteous. The zip lines by far were amazing we were encouraged to do flips and twists and turns hang upside down it was exhilarating. They even had somebody taking photos the entire time. We had the option to buy all of them which they were over 35 photos for $25. They probably would’ve taken less but we didn’t even bother to ask! we were very pleased! We loved being able to hold a little monkey and the sloth made some pretty cool pictures! Our drivers name was Harley. He was great. He took us all over Roatan. Giving us great history! He drove us to Bananarama Beach and waited for us the entire time. He drove us back to our port!

We booked our day trip in Roatan (we were there from a cruise ship) and this was awesome. The zip line course was 16 separate lines and the greatest part is it is Freestyle ziplining, meaning you can do flips, zip upside down etc). We had two guides, Andy and July, that zipped with us (one in front and one in back) and a photographer that took a great set of pictures which we purchased. The monkey park was great too. We were allowed in the cages and could feed and hold the monkeys and the young man who guided us through the park was informed about the animals. After our time at the ziplines and the monkey park, our driver took us to the beaches near the Paradise Beach Hotel in West Bay. We were able to get beach chairs and enjoy some great food/drinks before being driven back to the port to board our ship. The only feedback I would give regarding transparency is that in order to use the beach chairs at the Paradise Beach Hotel we had to pay $20 US per person. Well worth it but would have liked to have known when booking.
Fabulous Zipline Adventure!

Our family had a wonderful day at the Zipline and Monkey Park. Our guides, Trent and Brent, met us right at the planned location and we headed to the zipline park. Our zipline guides were fun, ensured our safety, very helpful and kind. Our children, ages 8 and 12, loved the ziplines and were flipping upside down and doing tricks on the first run. There was a 5 year old in our group and he did great, too. The monkey, sloth and bird sanctuary was small but a perfect end to the zipline adventure. We chose to skip the beach and head back to our cruise ship at the port and explore around there. We would highly recommend this excursion.

Very easy to find our group once we got out of the busy port area. Make sure you go to the gates outside the initial tourist area. A guide checked us in and was only a short walk to the zip lining area. There were also lockers available for free to hold any big bags or items. Sloth was asleep and monkeys were fun to play and get pictures with. We only had a little time with them since only one of the areas was open but luckily were able to see them both before & after our zip lining since it wasn't that crowded. The actual zip-lining part got off to a slow start (we waited about 30min after we were strapped in to our gear) while they waited for trucks to arrive to drive us but once we got to the top of the hill, the fun began. Also nice to have just our family and a few others in our group versus the giant tour groups through the cruise line. Our guides-JB, Thomas & Giovany explained the safety rules and showed us how to do tricks. They were very personable and made it fun for everyone. After the zip-lining we were able to buy our action shots. After, we were introduced to a driver, who drove us to West Bay Beach. He just dropped us off and did not stay because he was pressed for time to pick up another group. Because of this, our options were to stop and take a few pictures or stay and get picked up later. We chose to stay and explore for about 2 hours. There isn't a lot to do but it is a cool area to see so we grabbed some drinks and then had gelato at the beach before heading back. We waited about 20-25min at our pickup location and luckily another driver from the same company came to get us and drive us back to the port. Overall, we had a great time and it was a good value. Glad we chose this excursion during our short time in Honduras.

Peter and Jemsion were are guides for the zipline, they did an amazing job making sure we had fun and was safe during our whole session. The monkey park was a great experience as well. We got to hold the parrots and the monkeys were very friendly. Great excursion to pick. We had the option to choose a public or private beach we chose a private beach it was very nice just the sand was not as soft as I would have liked it to be, but the music was good and they had wifi for $3.

This was a great time! Shorn drove us to the site, they fitted us up and I was able to leave some things in a locker and take the key. After zip lining so fun! the guys who took us up obviously enjoy what they do!, he drove us to the public beach, which was amazing. The drive was rather long because of the pot holes in the pavement, but once we got there, we were able to grab a couple of beers at the bar and listen to some music. He was very informative about the area and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

This was by far the best part of our cruise! Rafael, Quinn, and Alex made it so much fun it was unreal. They encouraged us to let loose, and I went mostly upside down, which was terrifying, yet exhilarating. My 7 and 9 year olds LOVED it. Be sure and spend the 25 for the photo dvd. One of them took photos, and they are amazing! I wondered about safety, but you are strapped in so tight, you aren't going anywhere! The monkey park is a bit misleading. Just some animals in cages out back. But we all held them and got some great pictures! I can't speak for the beach - the kids were tired and hungry, so we skipped it.

First off, the zip lines were wonderful. The pickup location was about a 1 mile walk from the ship. We saw the sign immediately and were taken by a private car to the zip line location. Our guides: Preston and Marcos were great. Here's the problem. My husband and I are over 65 and out of shape. The first platform is up such a steep incline that ropes were provided to help you climb up. Our poor guides actually were pushing our backsides to help get us up there and when I reached the top I was so winded that I had to rest for about 10 minutes to catch my breath. Then the fun began. A cameraman took tons of photos and when we were done with the zip line portion he asked for 30, we paid 20. Over 100 pictures. I'm not sure it was over 20 platforms, I didn't count...but loads of fun. At the end of the zip lines we saw the monkeys who were in cages as were the parrots. Yes they took some out for us to hold and take photos with, but all in all, pretty lame. We didn't want to go to the beach so the driver took us on an island tour for no additional charge. The roads are the worst on any island we've been on. DON'T BOTHER! At the far end of the island is a resort with lots of bars and gift shops. Other than that, nothing to see or do. In our opinion, just a waste of an hour at least. All in all it was something that we will always remember, but please be forewarned about the level of stress to get to the first platform. Also, beware of the red ants and wear closed shoes.

Had a wonderful excursion off Carnival cruise ship. Guide was where they said they would be only negative was it is a pretty long walk from terminal up and down a steep hill. driver was friendly, informative and very helpful. Zip lining was a blast 4 different guides helping, 17 zippiness, some very long. My 82 yr. old mother did this for the 1st time and they took great care of her and she loved it. Monkey and bird park is right on premises kind of small but monkeys were cute and playful and we weren't rushed at all. Would highly recommend this trip. When they take you back to ship, they are able to pull up much closer to terminal.
