LIMITED MOBILITY Ancient Rome area and Vatican Museums visits involve SIGNIFICANT WALKING. Please provide any mobility and wheelchair access requirements. Also, visitors with limited mobility can contact us for special needs, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Please note that the pathway from the Sistine Chapel to St Peter’s Basilica has 50 steps downwards and is not wheelchair accessible. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has wheelchair paths. The tour will continue to the Basilica only if all members of your private group can walk down the stairs. If your private group includes participants with reduced mobility, the tour will end without accessing the Basilica. Also, note that other participants in your group will have to take charge of pushing the wheelchair. However, suppose you choose the PREMIUM Option, with the car at your disposal, we will be able to organize the Basilica visit. Furthermore, a car at your disposal could help if the person with limited mobility needs rest.

SUNDAY (and religious holidays) SPECIAL: Due to the Wow Tour's high request, we designed a Sunday experience when the Vatican is closed. With your guide, and your driver you will explore St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant' Angelo area and other marvelous sites like the Aventine hill; from its top, you enjoy spectacular views over the city!
Option 2 - PREMIUM OPTION: This tour has the car at disposal for the whole time. Nevertheless, transfers are scheduled according to entrance time tickets; if you need to anticipate or postpone a transfer, our staff will do their best to meet your needs.
STROLLERS: We suggest avoiding strollers and using a baby sling instead. Like wheelchairs and walkers, strollers are not allowed in the passage from the Sistine Chape directly to the Basilica ( 50 steps downward ). Your private tour will end without the Basilica visit. The PREMIUM OPTION with the car at your disposal, helps us organize the Basilica visit. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has stroller paths.
Option 1 - SHORE EXCURSION FROM CIVITAVECCHIA PORT: this option includes pick up and drop off at the dock of your ship. It also includes the car at disposal during the tour. Nevertheless, transfers are scheduled according to entrance time tickets; if you need to anticipate or postpone a transfer, our staff will do their best to meet your needs.

Worth every penny, couldn’t have asked for a better experience

This was the most memorable part of our 2 week long European adventure. Laura was the best guide we could’ve asked for. She took the time to explain the details behind each building/structure and the history of ALL the art. We really felt connected to her, and she made us feel incredibly special and taken care of. She even went out of her way to take photos of us at each location. If you can ask for Laura, you won’t regret it. Having a private car take you to each location was amazing. Both our drivers were very professional and kind. We didn’t have to wait in any of the long lines, just got to go right through. This is the best tour my husband and I have ever been on. 100% worth the money - an absolute dream.

My husband, daughter (15yrs old) and I had the best experience. The guide Manuela was knowledgeable and kind. She gave us a personalized tour . Her love of Rome and the rich culture and history was beyond what we hoped to get out of this tour. Igor was our driver, him and Manuela communicated perfectly … so every time we ended a tour Igor was waiting for us .. this helped getting straight to next destination without delays. Valentina was amazing!! We had the best time with her. Her English was very very good which made it easy for us to communicate. She showed us around several of the sites in Roma, including the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, the Roman Forum and many others. She was very considerate to stop at many bathrooms throughout the day and we stopped for lunch at a great place too. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Patritzia and our driver met us at our hotel lobby, swept us through crowded streets and lines to see all the highlights in Rome. Both seasoned professionals, they knew how to best avoid crowds and get us in and out of each location and gave us choices throughout the day. I would still be waiting in line at St. Peter’s Basillica if we didn’t have Patritzia! She also made a perfect dinner recommendation for us before dropping us back at our hotel.

Excellent tour! Our time was limited and we wanted to see as much as we could and this tour certainly accomplished that. I do think the day ended up feeling a little rushed and that was due to the substantial crowds of visitors. It is an ambitious itinerary to do with the crowds. Our guide and driver Francesca & Igor were excellent and made the entire experience enjoyable.

Book this tour! You will not regret it! My 10 year old daughter, and I visited Rome during a cruise. None of the itineraries offered by the cruise allowed us to see everything on our list. This tour was one of the best we have taken. It was tailored to us, and kid friendly. Our professional driver picked us up at port, and drove us to meet our guide Patricia. Our driver also dropped us off at the entrance to each of our stops and picked us back up. Our guide Patricia escorted us in to all of the sites with ease, and we did not have to wait in any lines. It truly was amazing, and made the most of our time in Rome. I highly recommend this tour!

Patricia WAS AMAZING. Humberto and his driver were absolutely the best!! When we arrived in Rome we were going straight to our hotel and we would leave our bags and be picked up by Viator to start our tour. About 5 minutes from the hotel Viator calls and informs us that our hotel was closed. Arriving at the hotel in disbelief we find that Viator has already found out the location of where they had moved us and confirmed that we had a room. They loaded our luggage in the private van and we were off to tour Rome! Absolutely no worries, they had everything under control! The tour was fabulous and Humberto made us feel welcomed and treated us to the best gelato and coffee in Rome!! We would highly recommend Humberto and Viator!!!
