    Nice tour & good guide

    Our guide Mario was great. He picked us up right on time and drove us down to the San Callisto catacombs. Fortunately it wasn't crowded so he bought our tix for the next time slot. Not sure what happens if it's crowded though? We really enjoyed the tour through the catacombs by one of their tour guides. Then Mario took us to an original section of the Appian Way and was generally very informative as we drove and he showed us around a little bit. We were headed to the train station right after he dropped us off, and there were 5 of us plus luggage. Instead of grabbing 2 taxis, we negotiated a price for Mario to take us to the hotel, collect our bags, and he drove us over to the train station. We appreciated that, even though it cost us more than taxis.

    This was a Wonderful experience! Our Guide Patrick who pick us up from our hotel was Amazing! Once we arrived at the location of the tour, we then went with one of the Priest there walked us through the tour…. It was very informative and I highly recommend this tour! After the Catacombs, our tour continued with Patrick who was so Wonderful, he made the entire experience Amazing!

    Constantin was a wonderful guide. He messaged prior to the tour and picked us up on time. He was very knowledgeable, showing us around Rome, and stopping at some extra stops along the way! Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see those extra places in Rome that you may miss. The catacombs were phenomenal and visiting the Roman wall museum was also a highlight! An excellent tour!

    Lorenzo was a wonderful escort and guide. The car was very comfortable and Lorenzo got us to the catacombs and talking about important sites to and from. He also took us to San Paola Basilica which was beautiful. Wonderful and personal experience.

    What a great tour! Patrick facilitated the tour of the Roman catacombs and then showed us several things we were not anticipated especially St Paul’s cathedral in Rome and the ruins of a large villa close to the start of the Appian way. Patrick was very friendly and knowledgeable as he pointed out sites and explained history connected to those sites. He was so courteous and it was a great tour. A good way to get oriented in Rome. P.S. he has great candy 🍬 😉

    We had a catocombs tour on 4/9/22. Everything was great despite the rain 😊. The transport to and from the catacombs was excellent. The driver was a fantastic companion and had a vast knowledge of ancient Rome. We learnt a lot, and had a good fun. Highly recommend!

    Great tour with flawless pick up and drop off at our hotel. Catacombs were very interesting and we went to several some other amazing sites, St Paul’s Basilica, Cesar’s home etc etc that you don’t see on other tours.

    Excellent experience! Our guide Patrick was top-notch! He communicated with us prior to the tour regarding details about pick up. He was prompt in picking us up at our hotel. He was very informative, personable, and had a great sense of humor which we appreciated. We visited the Catacombs and he gave us the history of the area and stopped at various points for us to take photos on the way there and back to the hotel. The catacombs were very interesting, but know that at this catacomb you do not see any bones. But it was still an amazing experience. Our guide for the catacombs tour was fantastic and Patrick met us right at the end of the tour so we could get back in his car and continue to see different sights around the city. Having the private tour was a great choice for our family of 4 and I highly recommend Patrick and this tour.

    This is such a rip off!!! I scheduled a tour, and the third party provider calls me and says they won’t pick me up at the Rome cruise port. He says we will refund you. When I didn’t receive the refund, I called Viator. They said “the tour people are willing to reschedule, not refund.” I’M ON A SHIP in Rome for a day and they already refused to pick me up but charged me $303 Euros, the equivalent of $340. BAIT AND SWITCH. Sign up, get money, refuse to serve the client. Just wow. Still shaking my head over this experience.

    Our driver/guide was wonderful - friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable; we also appreciated the easy way to reach the sites. The only reason this is 4 and not 5 stars was the catacombs themselves. They are fascinating, but the on site guide gave a talk to a large group outside of the catacombs instead of going in with us. That was a bit disappointing (and outside the control of the tour operator). We did get ample opportunity to enjoy the Appian way and to visit other sites.
