All tickets (same validates) will allow you to take advantage at a discounted rate. All bus lines have air conditioning and free WiFi.

Panoramic Route (pink double deck bus): Eight stops at Rome's must-see attractions. Make stops at Santa Maria Maggiore, Colosseum, Circo Massimo, Piazza Venezia, Vatican City, and Castel Sant'Angelo. Individual earphones are available to listen to the informative audio tour in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Russian, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic and Dutch. This route runs every 10 - 15 minutes from 8:30am to 6:40pm Monday through Thursday; through 8:45pm Friday through Sunday.

We paid to go on the tour. It advertised that they were close to several stops. Started looking for them at the train station and never found them. Look at several other locations and never found them. Ended up wasting $26/ person for nothing.

It was a Terrible experience no air conditioning in the bus ! There was a fan but seemed like it was only for the narrators. . The bus leaves you to far away from the attractions and at some stops had to wait 30 minutes for the bus

There are better options

I have used a few hobo busses in Europe and felt this one was far inferior to others. Could use more stops. Some of the stops are quite a walk to the sights of interest. I will say there are helpers at each stop to help people know where to get on and what bus to get on because all the hoho busses stop at the same stops. And the audio was clear and easy to understand

Ability to ride the entire route and decide where to stop on the next route was excellent. Your instructions said to find the bus in the Termini square (where we had the cab drop us off) but we had to walk 3+ blocks to the actual pick up spot. It would have been nice to know the exact pick up location to minimize walking. I’m not family with teens. I’m just family.

We rode 3 times, and each time was great, most of the best attractions in Rome are seen and the narration of the history and stories are excellent. Good experience on the bus. The only recommendation is for stops at the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain, provide better directions on how to get to the feature instead of dropping off and stating you are close to the feature item.

Best Bus Tour in Rome!

Staff at the office and on board the bus speak excellent English and are very informative of procedures. The bus includes an open top or a covered lower section with two doors to aid congestion. Despite a car rally delaying the start by a few minutes, the bus was quick to get going. They provide free earphones to listen to the onboard audio guide and it is surprisingly interesting with great facts. Sometimes the audio guide would skip mid sentence but this is to keep it in time with the bus' location. I stayed on for the whole tour and purchased a day ticket meaning I can get off wherever. MAKE SURE you buy the correct ticket! The day rider one with unlimited stops is literally a few quid more so you may as well purchase that one to give you a choice! The bus was great for photos as shown, as the windows pull back in sections for air and to get a clear view. The bus will also loop around some locations thus giving you a better opportunity to get that winning picture. I'm glad I picked up the ticket for this, and with my Viator points I got it at a reduced rate. DEFINITELY worth the money!
