It was fascinating learning about the Jewish Ghetto. Our guide explained the history of the Ghetto and took us to some prominent sites. He was confident, spoke clearly and ensured everyone was listening and engaged. The tour was well paced and we all had the opportunity to ask questions.

I had anticipated that the tour would concentrate more on the Jewish Ghetto. There was a Holocaust museum that was not mentioned. The tour guide was okay but it just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Our guide was such a lovely girl. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name but she was very knowledgeable about the area. She also recommended places in the area to eat and the best gelateria. We took her advice and weren’t disappointed. It was nice as there were only 4 couples on this tour so had the opportunity to ask lots of questions

We backed out at the last minute. Overnight flight with no sleep, then tour from our host, then heavy meal. Just too tired. Lesson learned. Next time I would schedule for morning after arrival instead of day of.

Painful experience

The guide was late leaving us wondering if we were in the right place. The group was too big and different levels so walking was very SLOW. The content was ok but a bit scattered i never really understood if/when we were in the Jewish Ghetto then towards the end of that section it sounded like it was literally 4 buildings. We left before the Trastevere section of the tour as it had become a painful experience

Very pleasant way to discover a part of the city outside of the main touristic spots. You must know that the booking fee is only fir the site. The only income of the guide are the tips. This remains excellent value for money

This was the best walking tour I’ve ever been on in any city. Our guide Romena did an excellent job of giving us an overall timeline of Rome and grounding in the basic time periods. That was enormously helpful in remembering what she said. We did four walking tours whilst in Rome and she was the only guide who did this. Everybody else was very piecemeal. The Jewish Ghetto is really interesting.
