Our guide Claire was awesome! Gave easy directions that we could follow at each stop! Beautiful drive along the Amalfi coast going up and down the hill for our stop at Positanos! Guide at Pompeii made sure we saw all important areas before it closed at 6 pm. Long day but totally worth it! Our family had a great time! Got a surprise gift of an extra stop for limoncello tasting! Thanks to our guide and our driver for a wonderful day we’ll spent! No stroller for our 4 year old at Pompeii, but at Positanos it was doable.

Unorganized

Unorganized, left 35 minutes late. They couldn’t decide whether or not to let a family of 6 on the bus. They added 2 after the original booking. After 45 minutes of back and forth they let them on. And from there we were late for everything. Not worth doing Pompei and Positano together. No time to enjoy each.

We had a fabulous time with our tour guide Marta. Positano was crazy busy but beautiful. Miguel at Pompei was also fantastic. The only suggestion would be to let us know we would be stopping at a place for pastries/coffee on the way there and soda/sandwiches on the way back. It would have helped with meal plans.

This was a great tour experience. Pompeii Ruins was amazing and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Amalfi Coast was absolutely beautiful! The only complaint I have is having more time on the Amalfi Coast. I think we made a few unnecessary stops on the way where we could have saved time and spend it on the Coast. We only had enough time to grab a bit and then head back.

Bad Communication when Bus broke down

Everything was good until Bus broke down leaving Pompeii.No plan put in place to rectify this.It was 2am before we got back to Rome.They should have got a replacement bus straight away.We feel we should be refunded.

The tour was great though a bit ambitious of an itinerary so made for a very long day.. be prepared for long drives and a full day.. our guide Mario was great!! He was friendly and made sure everyone was having a good time.. we had some challenges and he made sure everyone stayed positive and enjoyed themselves. The limoncello factory was nice to see and had a great gift shop.. Positano was gorgeous, though very crowded. Streets are narrow and hilly so it can be difficult walking.. shops and restaurants were lovely.. our visit to Pompeii was cut short by torrential rainstorm.. overall, we had a great time but I would suggest going at a less touristy time of year..

Terrible experience

Tour was not that bad however the tour bus broke down and left us stranded on the side of the road for over 4 hours. The company would not call in another bus until a mechanic arrived and told them the current bus was unrepairable. Very little communication from the guide or bus driver to update us. I understand that sometimes things break down but instead of ordering another bus right away they tried to get the one repaired for over 3.5 hours before calling in another bus to transport folks from Pompeii back to Rome

Had a great time. Tour guide, Claudia, was amazing - was funny and got us everywhere on time. She even got our food orders ahead of time so we'd have lunch to eat and wouldn't have to wait in the restaurant. Tour guide in Pompeii was also great (Elena). Very knowledgeable and succinct, kept her explanations short and to the point. Overall, would recommend. Beautiful trip. Only recommendation would be less time in Positano since it is very crowded.

We loved viewing the Amalfi cost and enjoyed Positano although the prices are very expensive. Visiting the Limoncello distillery was a big plus. The tour guide at Pompeii needed training on how to talk into a microphone. We did not hear many parts and there was lots of static on the presentation. When he held the mic to his mouth it worked fine. He was crabby and feisty, Pompeii was a disappointment. However this long trip was very organized.

It’s difficult to decide what was best in this day tour! Positano is beautiful and it’s definitely worth it. We had a chance to go down to the sea shore and up the hill to the most amazing scenic view. If you have to choose one, pick the view - it is unbelievable. Pompeii was much more than we expected. Elena, our guide, was top notch! She described the life of the inhabitants in a way that brought Pompeii back to life. The site is really well preserved! Last, but not least, Enrica, our tour guide and Andrea, our driver were the best! I definitely recommend this tour!

Although the day was long it was very well organized. Our guide Sonia was informative and gave excellent guidance and tidbits of information. The guide at Pompeii was very knowledgeable and entertaining, Easy access to Pompeii was great! Positano was beautiful with just enough time to gain a feel for area. Long day but worth it.

We paid for four seats, my child fell I’ll that morning, we didn’t ask for a refund but we wanted the seat to let our other daughter sleep on the ride. We were forced to give up our paid seat. City Wonders double sold our seat. They forced us to allow someone to have the seat and would not pay us back for the seat they received double payment in. That’s not right. We should. Receive a refund for the one ticket. Not worth the money.

Paola was an amazing guide. Telling us about the history and what the plans were for the day. She was very attentive to everyone and made sure we were all together and kept us informed about the days events. She had the day well coordinated. Giuliano was an extremely talented driver driving on the tight streets. He was amazing. The Amalfi coast was breathtakingly beautiful. I could have spent the entire day there. The one stop we made at the restaurant was a little on the pricey side and the food wasn’t that good. Pompeii was such a remarkable experience seeing the site but they need to get rid of the guide Willie who was horrible but not the tour company’s fault. The two locations were fabulous. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you both.

Day trip mostly on a bus

Overall a nice day trip. The drive was about 3-4 hours each way, inclusive of a rest stop each way. We understandably spent about 1 hour in Positano which made it difficult to do much given the crowds and lines. There's not enough time to eat there so we grabbed food at the rest stop instead. Our tour guide was difficult to hear and could have been more detailed about expectations. Pompeii was nice and included a different tour guide with a headset. All in all, it's questionable if the sites were worth the hours of driving spent.

Our guide Marta was excellent. Very knowledgeable. And our driver Mario was superb 👌 Wish we would have had more time in Postino and Pompeii to wonder around. Especially Pompeii. But overall it was great for the time we had.

It was a jam packed day, but overall very beautiful and fun. I appreciate the tour guide because he gave history but also information on the culture. He gave tips on what to do and where to eat since there was limited time. If you’re looking for time to stroll and eat, I actually wouldn’t recommend since it’s so busy. At most you get 40-60 minutes of free time at each stop. A lot of time is taken up by travel.
