Note: Very little time is spent in Naples but it was worth the stop.

Of course they are limited on time for a long drive.

An exceptional tour

We highly recommend this tour as we had a fantastic day thanks to our guide, Dina and driver, Massimo. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel and treated like VIPs the entire day. Dina was warm, knowledgeable and committed to ensuring that we had the best possible experience. Our local guide at Pompeii, Hector, communicate with us with considerable knowledge and wit. He led us to the highlights and avoided the large tour groups at the site. Touring Pompeii and Naples in a small group is the right choice.

Being in Pompeii was surreal and amazing. Our guide there was so knowledgeable and interesting, really enhanced the experience. The lunch and wine tasting were delicious and a lot of fun. Our guide Maria Teresa and driver, Masimo, were wonderful. Very friendly and made the whole day special.

Pompeii worth the journey

Fabulous guides who were helpful & knowledgeable. It's a long day but worthwhile & Pompeii is very impressive. Transport and driver were excellent with great puck up from hotel. Suggest that all tours, no matter the number,in the group, be given headsets which were much needed in crowds & also for anyone hearing impaired.

We had an amazing all day excursion from Rome to POMEII and Naples. The tour guide Antoinette and Pietro picked us promptly at our hotel in Rome. They offered to stop and get coffee on our way to Pompeii. Antoinette was so positive and professional. She went the extra mile to keep us informed and was just delightful. So knowledgeable and funny! Pietro was the most excellent driver, not once did he speed or put us in danger. Could not of anticipated what a lovely, non stressful excursion. So highly recommended. The old adage (you get what you pay for) applies!

Perfect Pompeii Naples trip

We had a great time with Teresa (sorry if I spelled that wrong 😁) and Max. They were a lot of fun and very informative. They made us feel comfortable and welcomed to the entire trip. Our guide in Pompeii was also amazing. I’ve been there before, but he took us in a completely different area and showed things I hadn’t seen on the previous trip. I brought my son and his friend and they had a great time as well. our guide even showed us the risqué part of Pompeii. After Pompeii, we did lunch at a winery, and ended with hour or so walk through Naples. I’d recommend this to anyone, you’re in good hands.

Welcome Italy is an amazing tour company. I would highly recommend it. We did the Pompeii, Winery and Napoli tour and we would recommend it for sure. Pompeii is a must see and having a small group makes it all much easier. Our driver Giovanni was amazing, professional and polite. Our guide Maria Teresa was so knowledgeable, organized, helpful and kind. Hector our tour guide for Pompeii was also amazing and very knowledgeable and passionate. The winery they took us to was an amazing surprise we would have not even known of if we didn't book this. A view of Mt Vesuvius, Mediterranean sea,home made Italian food and great wine. Lastly Napoli was so amazing great views, tour of the city and even stopping at the oldest and delicious cafe in town. All in all 10/10. We loved the tour souch we booked another amazing tour with another one of the their very knowledgeable, professional and passionate guides to the Vatican.

We enjoyed our private tour to Pompeii and Naples. Pompeii tour guide is very knowledgeable, the 2 hours stop at Pompeii, guide shared with us the very unique spots/sites, where you won’t see them in a big group. Lunch in a winery, Is a pleasant surprise with wine in tasting and short tour of the vineyard. Naples city tour is the last stop, short and sweet.

Had an absolute blast. Maria Teresa and Roberto are probably the best employees in this company (personal opinion). We got lucky to get them as our tour guide and driver. Maria Teresa was very knowledgeable, kind, patient and detail oriented. The time in Naples was short but packed with great things to see. The vineyard was great and Pompeii was also a great experience. Worth every penny. Completely recommend.

The entire trip from Rome and back was wonderful .Seeing the contrast of modern Italy with the old version was eye opening. Seeing a real part of history and enjoying the work that brought it back for all to see. Out lunch was very good. Our guide and driver where excellent , making what we saw come alive.

A fantastic tout from start to finish. Guiseppe (our guide) and Max (our driver) picked us up at our hotel. Guiseppe was incredibly knowledgeable, and pointed out interesting sights along the way and gave us a terrific tour of Naples, including local food and drinks that were not typical tourist fare. For the Pompeii portion we were turned over to Hector - the most knowledgeable and experienced guide of all of Pompeii, who had trained many of the other guides as well. Wear comfortable shoes - Hector is 78 but you will be working to keep up with him! As he said, “the faster the guide, the more of Pompeii you get to see!” But while we covered a lot of ground we did not feel rushed, lots of history, lots of fantastic information. It’s a bit of a ride from Rome but would do it again in a heartbeat. We had a total of 14 in our Pompeii group, but the rest of our time was just the two of us with Giuseppe and Max.

Pompeii was amazing! The city planning and engineering that went into this place thousands of years ago is mind blowing. I rated this 4 stars because, while I enjoyed the sights in Naples, I could have done without that side trip. With the travel to and from Rome and the tour in Pompeii it was a very long day.

A Really Fun Day

We are a group of four (two couples) that took this day trip from Rome. It was a great day! The driver was a bit late picking us up but we didn't let it spoil our day. The guide in Pompeii was fantastic and I wish we could have spent another 1-2 hours there. The lunch at the vineyard was delicious (as was the wine) and the brief stop in Naples was interesting. We got back to Rome around 7:30pm and it was a really fun day. The minivan was comfortable for 4 people but more than that I could see it being too cramped.

Our guide Teresa and our driver Max were lovely people and very knowledgeable. Our guide at Pompeii, Vincenzo, was also excellent. We had a delicious meal at the bio winery near Vesuvius and shipped home wine, olive oil and a homemade vinegar that we fell in love with. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy.

The tour made it easy to get to Pompeii. Our guide, Kathleen ?,, was great. Very helpful and informative. We were turned over to a different guide in Pompeii. I felt rushed during the tour. There is so much to see. It would have been nice to have more time to linger. The winery lunch was very nice. Enjoyed seeing a little of Naples.
