Disclaimer: we did not go on this tour, Giorgia texted me on the day of the tour with sad news that our guide cancelled last minute. She offered us 2 options to reschedule to the next day or go on the Trastevere food tour WHICH WAS AMAZING! So happy we did it. Alina was our guide and she was absolutely incredible- so nice, bubbly, personable, and knowledgeable. The tour was small and the food and wine were all phenomenal. I wish everyone could go on this tour! All the stars to the entire team!

The tour was amazing thanks to our wonderful tour guide CELESTE. She was knowledgeable, fun and made the whole experience enjoyable and entertaining. It was an amazing experience to spend an evening with her and try out the various roman cuisines. They even made some accommodations for us as we dont eat red meat. The handpicked places were great. I’d you don’t drink alcohol or eat red meat it is a tad hard to enjoy everything on offer

Amazing Introduction to Roman Cuisine

Chiara took us to 4 restaurants and we tasted everything from antipasto, pizza, pasta and gelato. Of course pairing it with fine wines and Prosecco was delicious. The pizza was amazing, unique and different flavours, possibly my favourite stop for the reason the restaurant has been recognized by Lonely Planet and Anthony Bourdain. As a guide, Chiara kept us entertained all night long with her humour, witty conversation and stories about food. Thanks again Ciara for introducing us to Roman cuisine

We found it very difficult to find the starting point as it wasn’t central however on arrival our guide was welcoming and friendly. Our guide was informative and gave an excellent description of every course and the origins of the food. This was the best experience we had in Rome. Our guide was really nice and the group was a lot of fun. We all gelled very well and that really made the evening. All the food was delicious, including the crustinis with pesto, the supli and the pizza varieties, the pasta, and the gelato. But was best was the constantly flowing wine. I dont recall ever enjoying as much wine as we’d drunk that evening. This is definitely an experience worth having!!
