This fantastic experience was made even better by our guide, Paul. He was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Rome and had very relevant insights that connected many of the dots of the Catacombs. If you can do this tour and ask for Paul, do it. You will not regret it!

Great tour of a fascinating aspect of Rome’s history, with a knowledgeable guide. Important to note there is a minivan transfer from the meeting point to the site - hold on to your hat;) Highly recommend!

This was a really interesting and memorable tour! I’m really glad we chose to do the small group tour; I would have felt claustrophobic inside the catacombs with a larger group. Our tour guide Lorenzo was excellent! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining.

Tour started late, an hour after advertised. I then was quite rushed and cut short due to some customers needing to get to other pre booked tours. The tour guide was also somewhat condescending and aloof.

Lorenzo was a wonderful guide. He was knowledgable as well as funny and entertaining. It was interesting for me as well as my 11 year old son. Both adults and children would enjoy this tour. It wasn't too long and the pace of the tour was good as well.

Our guide, Paul, was wonderful. He had such a knowledgeable background on Roman history and the catacombs that many of us admitted we had no idea of the uniqueness of this. The van transportation was a bonus otherwise, it may have been more difficult to get there. If have have any degree of claustrophobia, this would not be a your doe you as the majority is underground. We personally did not plan enough time for the above ground gardens.

Great tour of the catacombs. This was the first tour we booked for our trip to Rome and it did not disappoint! We were picked up at the Touriks office and transported to the catacombs (maybe 15 min away) in a comfortable, clean Mercedes sprinter. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour.

The catacombs were a must see venue. We went on Sunday morning with little traffic and experienced a “personalized”guided tour with our multilingual tour guide. Very educational and spiritual, learning much about how Rome buried its dead in one of many sites.

Be Careful Booking from Touriks

We had a bus accident (Bus 85, out of Rome Termini, on 20 Jan, 2023), with pictures to show it, so we arrived after the tour had departed. At a minimum, I assumed we'd be given a future date, but no - they just wanted our money and would not even try to accommodate us, despite having plenty of openings for the next few weeks. Probably best not to use these guys (Touriks) unless you intend to arrive an hour or so early. As it is, we have reported this to Viator, and if this dispute is resolved in a responsible manner, I will happily pull down this review and write something positive about Touriks.
