We booked Travestere but our guide got ill and we were redirected to Jewish Ghetto. Maria, our guide, was fantastic and we tried some authentic Roman foods. Very good experience and remember to wear comfortable shoes!

Simona was our food tour guide; this was actually a food tour of the Jewish Ghetto and Campo de Fiori; she made it for an amazing night. She was beyond pleasant, charismatic, and knowledgeable. She treated my girlfriend Kristina and I like family. Also, added bonus, she gave us excellent travel & food tips for our day trip to Napoli the following day; we just came back from dinner at “Tandem”, it did not disappoint just like she said it wouldn’t Simona was such a joy to be around and led by!!! I wish I could rate more than 5 stars

The guide was nice and accommodating. The tour was overall nice and fun. The food could have tasted better, at the first 3 stops you will have to stay standing outside while eating heads up. Met some awesome people on the tour with us and became good friends! Overall was a nice night!

A Tasty Journey through Trastevere

Gulia provided us with a great sampling of food from Rome. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. We stopped at several places and had delicious food along with beverages. We finished the evening with a full meal of various pastas and a stop for gelato. So much food and I recommend this tour if you're looking to wander through Trastevere tasting delicious local foods.

Maria was amazing! We ended up being lucky enough for this to be a private tour and she spoiled us. We love to eat and came very hungry and she didn't disappoint. While we saw some local history and she guided us to some really great areas to explore it was all paired around getting to our food places. Each food stop was perfect! The perfect amount and so, so yummy! We stopped at least 6 times during our trip for food at different places. All local (non-touristy) spots which treated us fantastic. The food and portions were great! After feeling a bit skimped on our wine tour this definitely made up for it. It was romantic and a really enjoyable slow tour. We never felt rushed or in a hurry to get to our next destination and Maria would've easily allowed us to stop off at any shop we saw if we wanted to for a brief pause in our tour if we had asked. As the title suggests GO HUNGRY so you don't get full by the time you get to your final course and the desserts!

One of the highlights of our Rome experience. It was the night of our 25th wedding annivesary and it was a fantastic experience. It turned out that we were the only two on the tour, so it became a private tour. Julia our guide was a young Italian who had lived in this area as a child and was a fascinating guide because of her knowledge of the area. It was just like having a friend or family member who knew the area show us around. Each place (7) was a great culinary experience and was a terrific 25th anniversary time. We love Julia and thank her immensely for this.

Am besten hat uns der Besuch eines kleinen Feinkostladens gefallen. Die anderen kleinen Snacks waren auch sehr lecker. Die Nudeln im Lokal waren leider nicht so gut. Aber dafür war alles andere toll. Man sollte unbedingt beachten, lange vorher nichts gegessen zu haben! Die Essensauswahl ist extrem reichhaltig!! Die Führerin haben wir sehr gut verstanden ihr Englisch war ausgezeichnet. Sie hat uns in Trastevere auch schöne Ecken abseits der Tour gezeigt und uns am Ende ein Taxi besorgt. Vielen dank, Maria!
