Really loved Rome at night. It was especially beautiful to see the Colosseum lit up. The sites are lovely in the evening. I will say that it did get a little long. Probably could skip the dinner to end the tour earlier. The gelato stop was super.

The driver was amazing, very informative and very skillful in navigating the traffic to ensure you had good parking spots for the best views. The restaurant was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Good idea, execution needs help

This is a cool idea, but lacked a few elements. I’ll start with the good. Alberto, our driver, was friendly and energetic. It’s great to be driven around to see these beautiful, iconic Roman spots at night. They make it easy. The gelato was very good. The elements that need improvement: Alberto didn’t walk with us to a few of the sights. He stayed with the van. As a solo traveler, I would have preferred that he guided us to/from and told us about the sights (more do the history or culture, etc.) - and took photos of us. Fortunately, there was a very nice couple from Australia/Sri Lanka that adopted me and we would walk to/from the sights together. (It wasn’t far, but is nice to have company especially at night.) Alberto provided some commentary, but not a ton. The dinner was very average, but at least was located on Piazza Navona - where the atmosphere is nice. We had to wait - for some unknown reason - for other vans. Not sure why, but that delayed the start of our excursion a bit. And, there was a female driver/guide that was rude to me when I asked her a question. I didn’t appreciate the rudeness given that she works at the same company and I had a very basic question. Also, the van is a bit cramped. Thankfully - the windows were open. People in the van were coughing and had just come off a cruise ship…

We had a great time on this tour and the Pizza and Gelato were fantastic. The driver took us all over Rome at night, so we revisited many of the sites we saw the first day. It was well worth the time and we enjoyed meeting other tourists (there were 7 on our tour).

Be careful what you sign up for!

We were pickup up on time in a 9 passenger van, not a more comfortable "mini-van" as advertised. The driver spoke very broken English, to the point that all on the van had to ask him to repeat and explain what he was saying. The description says "max 8 people with driver" which we interpreted to mean WE could sign up up to 8, not that the operator would fill the slots on the van up to 8, making it very uncomfortable, When asked if he could skip the Spanish Steps, some of the group said OK so he skipped that making and the rest of us very disappointed. I would NOT recommend!!

The tour was good. Traffic was not good. Recommendation for future tours is to pick a centralized location for all to meet in lieu of picking up at hotels. With rush hour traffic on a Friday evening, it made navigating difficult. The tour was good.
