Customers have a mandatory meeting time stated 25 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time due to managing and organizational reasons.
The Colosseum management does not distribute individeual tickets. We will have one group tickets for the entrire group. For this reason, we cannot give individual tickets to late arrivals.
PLEASE NOTE: as for the Colosseum new management, it might take few minutes to grab tickets for kids (if any of them are in the group) so the activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational reasons
The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary
You must have a valid photo ID to enter the Colosseum (student's ID, Driver License, Passport or State ID all work.) You will be asked to also provide your name, last name and date of birth (at the beginning of the tour, if not provided beforehand.) Security may prevent you from entering the site if the information provided is not accurate and/or don't match the one on your ID.
Discounts for children under 18 years is applied only with a valid ID card!
Please note that for safety reasons the Colosseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened.

Please notice that the Colosseum Administration, which depends on the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities has the faculty to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice, for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason. In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit and offer a partial refund

No change on a booking can be accepted after 24hrs to the starting time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
For the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Group meeting point was clear and process was easy. Guide was good and very knowledgeable. It was great that he had a book showing what the buildings used to look like. I would have liked more stories. Tough job guiding when there are soooo many tourists.

Our guide was incredible the tour went above and beyond! Several people left because the tour time went over the 2.5 hour mark but I would highly suggest staying the entire time for the best experience and information! After you can stroll around and see everything! I would suggest bringing a water bottle and wearing light and light colored clothing. In June it was hot but the guide was very accommodating and helpful on where to get water and go to the restroom!

I reached out to the tour operator on two occasions & explained our situation and the possibility we may have to cancel if our flight was delayed and asked about a later time or another day to reschedule. I never heard back. As expected, our flight was indeed delayed and we needed to reschedule but I knew at that point it wouldn’t do any good to reach out again as they never responded previously. The tour operator did call when we didn’t show up & I told him our flight had been delayed & we were just leaving the airport. He said ok and hung up without giving us the chance to reschedule or ask for a refund.

REALLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY. First of all everyone there is on a group tour so there becomes quite a big line actually, you’re better going as an individual and not tour, it’s a different line to the the tour groups and you get inside faster. Do not do a tour with these or anyone if it’s combined and includes the Roman forum - if you want to do a tour just do the colosseum on its own so that you are free to explore afterwards. But I wouldn’t do a tour at all, your luck with the guide appears to be so variable and you can’t predict if it’ll be a good one or not. We had so much difficulty understanding our ‘English’ speaking guide with such a thick Italian accent, no idea what he was on about half the time. Then you are rushed through the colosseum with no time to read the info, take in the views or barely take a photograph or read about and look at the museum exhibits - you leave the colosseum and walk over to the Roman forum (and the only good thing about the experience was this was very quick and skipped huge queues). Inside the forum you are walked down to the bottom with some token info about what is around you, then left to explore at the bottom on your own. For the money I paid for 1 adult and 2 children at £176 it WAS NOT WORTH IT. We couldn’t go back into the colosseum and that’s really the impressive part of the tour where you want to be left, not the forum.
